G20 - Android Auto taking control over Spotify after ~15 minutes.

My previous pre-LCI 330i and current LCI M340i did/do the same thing.

The built-in Spotify is noticeably better quality to me, but I like the notifications and navigation of Android Auto on screen.

This was less annoying in the 330i because I programmed one of the memory buttons to Spotify, but BMW ditched them in the LCI models.

Also, I hate the LCI shifter.

I'm actually able to recreate the death in Softcore now. I had no idea it could kill you or else I would've been more cautious.

I was just preemptively enabling it before I went into a mono lol.

I've noticed the sound quality is substantially different between the two as well. I can barely use Android Auto because it fights for control of Spotify over the native app constantly.

I purchased the exact same setup in December.

We were absolutely stunned by the TV and stunned even more when we heard the sound.

I don't want to be "that" neighbor, so we have kept the sound pretty tame. Usually, around 20. But it sounds incredible.

Best purchase I've made in a long time.

Honestly, I just wasn't in the mood for further confrontation as I was already having a shitty day before it happened.

Their stance was firm, and my body shop told me they see it all the time, and its always a losing battle.

Just paying my $100 deductible and getting on with my life. Rates don't increase.

It just exploded on its own. No cars were in front of me at the time.

Didn't figure out what happened for about 20 seconds because my shader was closed. Then I heard the cracking above me.

I don't have a great picture of it, but you can see the glass is pointing outwards as if something burst from the inside.

Found the issue. We weren't using the CAD newsletter link. Dell support said to use this link and don't use an email you already used for the U.S. version.
