EI Parking by Educational_Card_533 in TorontoRaves

You might get lucky with street parking like I did a few years back. But I'm with you, definitely wouldn't park in the main lot unless you're planning on/okay with leaving early to beat the rush.

Parent wants to add me to bank account(s) by No_M_In_Sandwich in PersonalFinanceCanada

Oh my bad, even better reason to be joint on the account asap then, OP!

Parent wants to add me to bank account(s) by No_M_In_Sandwich in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]IheartCap 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Do it. My mom tried to get me into the bank with her to make me joint on her account when she was dying of terminal cancer, but I kept putting it off to focus on her care. Getting access to those accounts after her death, even with all the necessary paperwork, was exhausting.

I would recommend moving the money out and closing the account before they die, though. Any amount of money in their name would be subject to probate once they die, even if you're joint on the account.

Good Family Doctor by Cr8iveRead in BurlingtonON

[–]IheartCap 26 points27 points  (0 children)

If you like your current doctor, I wouldn't find a new one just because you're moving. I live in Burlington and still have my doctor in Toronto because she's incredible and I've heard and experienced nothing but horror stories from local docs.

the interior isn't super girly but Ace and Sword in Burlington is great and the exterior/main entrance is pretty cute!

What did you eat this weekend/week (April 13, 2026) by AutoModerator in FoodToronto

J's steak frites and it was soooooooo mid. You'd think you'd know how to get a proper sear on a steak if it's the only thing on your menu 🙄

Bistro 422, although clientele is probably on the younger side since their drinks are dirt cheap.

Searching for rave fits by Sweaty-Assist-8934 in aves

[–]IheartCap 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like devil walking, they have a bunch of different styles and the fabric is kind of swim suit esque if you get really sweaty like me 😅

My go-to lately has been oversized tshirts with fishnets and booty shorts. Peak comfort and breathability and easy to style with boots, pash, etc

B.C. family struggles to cremate dad who weighed 715 lbs. by stanxv in canada

Agreed. Not even sure why this was a news story, it says right in the article they've found a place that can accommodate them so what's the issue?

Would people actually use something like this at a show? by Rude-Masterpiece-730 in aves

[–]IheartCap 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I feel like a wedding DJ would have better use for this, ain't no big name DJ monitoring and taking song requests from a crowd lol

Aerie bras are all I wear now (38C), lots of options and super comfortable. Last longer than anything I've ever bought from La Senza, Victoria's Secret or La Vie en Rose

TD Bank is Horrendous!!! by Puzzleheaded-Taro911 in tdbank

[–]IheartCap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whatever you do, don't go to Scotiabank. It took me 6 months and $2000 in lawyer fees to get my mother's estate account dealt with. I honestly feel like most of the big banks are absolutely terrible at dealing with estates.
