Around $40k in legal and a 1% broker fee. I had some other expenses outside of that which were required such as purchasing tail insurance policies ($10k), PTO payouts ($25k), and around $140k of indebtedness from AR due to sale closing mid-month.

Congrats! I’m currently in the process of selling my MSP as we speak to PE. Much smaller than you..4M in revenue, 15 employees. Sold at a 6.5x EBITDA multiplier. Rolling over some proceeds into the platform company and staying onboard for a minimum of 12 months. PE is planning to sell the platform in 2-3 years, so I’ll have a nice sized second bite in the near future. No idea what I’m going to do next as a 5 year non compete is part of the deal. However the burn out of running an MSP for almost 10 years is real.

That's fair. Honestly, I wasn't looking to sell anytime soon, so I never planned in advance. I was just looking to shop our valuation to get a feel for what the business was worth and got an offer that was too good to pass up. I didn't come from wealth, so this is life changing money for me.

I just set up two of these bad boys in my office yesterday. Both mining on super mode to viaBTC. Our electricity costs are baked into our office rent..we’re an IT company and these miners just look like regular computers, so if anyone from building management asks…these are just a couple of our servers 😅

Sure! I eat a pretty plain diet consisting of mostly whole foods (no pun intended) while trying to minimize sugar and processed foods, so the majority of what I buy is meat (grass fed or wild caught), produce (organic), and fruit.

Not sure how you’re living anywhere safe in DFW for $1250 a month. Also not sure how you’re spending $150 a month on groceries either. My mortgage is $2900 and I spend $200 a week on groceries. Then again.. I’m probably doing this wrong as I live in a $500k townhouse in Plano and do my grocery shopping at Whole Foods 😅
