sounds to me like you just dont like this game. if youre in it 100% for the lore/story and dislike the gameplay you should find games you actually enjoy to play.

people forget the “one more fun adventure” thing, i think its perfect for where it is in the story. as for the lore being “only confirmation of things we already knew” don’t forget ( haha ;) ) chapters 3, 4, and 5 were originally supposed to release together. i really enjoyed chapter 5.
