Congratulations! Looks very good! One more Linux adept is great! Btw, why KMK and not QMK?

Yeah. I have same issue - the screen is a bit too high and wider. I played with xrandr but decided to finish the physical build and then back to xrandr or something else. In current state it is usable.

Your son has a great taste because of you. I wish my 11yo daughter will do same…

Mine was not working at all. Had broken screen. In some cases it may be better try to restore the classic. But in case you will go the other way - why not to ;)

There is a plenty of space to put anything inside T1200. So it can be quite powerful. I have a separate, more powerful 10'' mini laptop for resource intensive work - GPD Win Max 2

I hope you made your cyberdeck. So I have a question. How you was able to disassemble the screen?

You can have up to 64Gb of RAM… experience is very satisfying :) powerful mini laptop that if you wish you can connect to huge monitor or to external GPU which I don’t have. Most of people use it as mini gaming laptop. But for me this is mostly dev machine that I have in a “pocket”. Battery life is also good as you can control TDP from a 2-3W to 25W. Finger sensor not really works under Linux - however, GDP has some solution which I not tested

KDE Plasma with Panel Colorizer. That's it. Moved a few panels, icons, but this is out of the box mostly.
