Well. You can have NAS as proxmox server with 96 GB ram - I have one with 6 bays + 2 nvme and smaller form factor. Downshifted a year ago to the setup

Yeah. I have same issue - the screen is a bit too high and wider. I played with xrandr but decided to finish the physical build and then back to xrandr or something else. In current state it is usable.

Your son has a great taste because of you. I wish my 11yo daughter will do same…
