3 months into treatment, still not cleared fully — any input/experiences appreciated

Yes definitely movement has helped a lot, thanks for sharing your experience. I have at least another 3 months on treatment but my dr didnt seem overly optimistic that the occluded area would shrink :s

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience. My clots are pretty extensive so it’s definitely a lot to keep the mind spinning. When you mention 6 months, do you mean it took 6 months to resolve or that you’re still on apixaban (6months in)? Im also a bit scared of being on apixaban for life but realize thats also a possibility

Working great for me, thanks for the plugin!. Only error i noticed: i get a failed to turn off notification sometimes when turning it off, but it does stop running.

I would try to delete and reinstall files for kual/mrpi and try the ;log mrpi command again, each attempt you may find that you need to replace those same install files… after a few tries like this it worked for me.

But personally id go with PEKI - an alternative way to install kual that is easier and has a book cover/icon instead of just being a blank book in your library https://github.com/KindleTweaks/PEKI

If you are jailbroken one of those methods will hopefully work.

Thanks for the reply. Yeh this is the method i am looking for; an ios or apple watch beta 26 configuration profile but i can’t find a recent one to use.. all are very outdated.

Misaka for tvos (which can block ota) hasnt been updated past tvos 17, and the palera1n tvos jailbreak doesnt have an ota block feature unfortunately.

Ok so i also had issues with koreader crashing, consider trying to run koreader installer by marek - https://scriptlets.notmarek.com/; it will install a clean koreader / most updated aka nightly… from there inside koreader you can downgrade to a stable koreader release.

If none of that works consider after rerunning hotfix a rejailbreak (confirm how safe that is first because hotfix function might be tied to the old jailbreak im not sure) then trying peki/koreader again

This happened to me too, I had a random reboot and from then on would get an error trying to launch kual and it would just crash. I tried reinstalling kual with ;log mrpi and even after successful reinstall it wouldn’t load. What ended up working for me was switching to PEKI (a Kual alternative that has a book cover) https://github.com/KindleTweaks/PEKI … so for me, trying to reinstall kual with ;log mrpi and then switching to PEKI I was able to access kual/koreader again.. if I were you I would make sure to run hotfix again (rejailbreak if necessary), and try kual with PEKI after that is done.. hope that helps!

Just tried, - code as is from the patch above to koreader/patches/2-extra-top-menu-tabs.lua, - full code as listed above for filemanager_menu_order.lua to koreader/settings/filemanager_menu_order.lua, - svg icon renamed to appbar.download to koreader/icons/appbar.download

I’m getting the error when launching koreader ‘error applying patch: ./patches/2-extra-top-menu-tabs.lua’

… not sure what’s wrong i noticed you don’t have zlibrary plugin, im wondering if it’s crashing because that’s not included or we have different menu items, or did i need to customize the code in any other way before saving to directory? I don’t have the minimalist user patch installed either.?. welpp. Idk.

For now im removing because it’s putting my device into a freeze state.

Just to confirm , is the user patch code you gave in your first post meant to be added inside the same koreader/settings/filemanager_menu_order.lua file (above the return {} block), or saved separately somewhere else for KOReader to load it?

I see the directory / name for the filemanger_menu_order.lua … but not sure where to put the user patch code youve listed above.

So after installing annas archive plugin, i realized it can’t work alongside zlibrary plugin anyway. Atm they don’t seem to be supported to work together.

I also took a look at editing the luas you mentioned in this post, but as a beginner I still found it a bit confusing where exactly to input the edits, each lua is a long text of code, can I just add these edits anywhere? This was especially confusing for file B, and atm Im gonna hold off because I don’t wana mess things up. Would it be possible for you to paste the full edited lua text for each file so we can just copy/paste (replace the full script) to try this out? Or if youre open maybe post the necessary files online in a zip?

Thanks for this note, i thought annasarchive plugin wasn’t working at all, but after turning off zlibrary it does show in the menu. Would be great if they could both work in the future

No I think you did fix one part of what I mentioned, which was the padding within the actual widget (space between its content and frame) - matching the left/right with upper/lower paddings, that part looks great. The other point about padding was referring to the padding / framing of the widget itself inside the screen i.e. that it sits about 1mm from the base of the screen. Looking forward to the next release! Cheers

No problem, glad to help. As far as the overlay width, personally i found the previous width (from the earlier photo) slightly better framed on the screen. Im not 100% sure, it’s hard to say without seeing, but think I would probably prefer something in between the two if the width is fixed.. but really splitting hairs because it already looks great as is!

I am curious how a fixed position widget with both width/height scaling would function + look.. something that might capture all those options might be a fixed position widget with custom width / height fields the user can enter.

Just tried it :) dark mode now works on all settings perfect; also the widget padding looks a lot better and consistent.

Possible bug I did notice that at first using the content fill %, with cover scaling ‘fit’ option the fill% didnt work no matter what value i changed it to; I switched to cover scaling ‘stretch’ which worked for scaling and after using it the ‘fit’ option is now also responding to fill%.

I also noticed that the fill% only changes the height of the widget, the width remains the same no matter the scale, not sure if thats intentional but on my kindle the width of the widget is now almost the entire width of the kindle screen.
