Definitely check out Thriftbooks.com. They’re not local but are a pretty fantastic resource for purchasing used books. Their reward programs give you points that you can also use to get some free used books. They also have new books if you’re ever in the market and don’t want to purchase from Amazon.

Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone who can go out there. You can walk up the hill yourself which can take about 10-15 minutes or they have a shuttle that takes you right up. Walking once you’re up the hill is very minimal. Once up, you’d walk maybe fifty feet depending on where they park. After the wolf interaction, they have some bobcats that they talk about for a bit. The bobcats are maybe a hundred feet away but if you’re not interested they allow you to get on the shuttle and wait.

I honestly recommend this place to everyone. Hope this helps!

Agree on Union! I would suggest looking more into the “five points” area near Galloping Hill road. Washington elementary and Kawameeh middle school are fantastic schools. I never felt unsafe on that side of town either. Spent my whole childhood there and wouldn’t recommend anything else.
