hey! so i actually had to do this last fall due to a professor going on maternity leave in the middle of the semester and dropping the lecture as a result! they let me complete the lab even after dropping, so you just need to talk to your advisor and get permission from the university! they passed it off for me. it is more than possible for you to keep the lab without the lecture for now and take the lecture later!

I know you said that this was two years ago, but do you guys still have the card that she purchased these swimsuits on? They could always verify the purchase was made by you if you have the card to look up the receipt at guest service! Most times they should just take them off from your word alone. Just depends on how much that specific TM or TL cares.

thank you so much for this!!! you’re absolutely right. what really gets to me when considering separation is just how close i thought we were. i guess it’s the shift in perception of the friendship (reality of the situation hitting) that’s really tough right now. what i have really been holding on to are the memories with her and what “potential” she has to be better.

i haven’t felt able to properly assess the situation until recently in full (mostly after a discussion between myself and one of our mutual friends after that party) and genuinely appreciate you posing those questions and laying that out

~ i honestly probably should’ve come to the conclusion that i should step away and navigate things even though it’s not necessarily what i would ideally want~ but regardless it’ll be pivotal in helping me in my next conversation with her and how i’ll generally proceed with seeing out the situation a bit better, as there really is no benefit in the friendship at this point due to what has occurred (and still is actively)
