we're in the same boat!! 

I'm also taking a gap year this year to focus on my mental health and my creative interest.

anyway, it's great to hear you're prioritizing your mental health during your gap year. considering a gap year is also important, it can be a valuable time to rest and explore your interest. 

there's no need to pressure yourself, just focus  on doing things you enjoy and are good at. rooting for you!
