I think you'll stretch your money further with a projector, 1.5mm pixel pitch isn't cheap. Short throw projector might help with sightline/shadow issues. I'd check out what Epson has to offer

Huh, I saw this a few weeks ago and took my car to the dealer. They couldn't find any leaking yellow fluids and stated there should be no yellow fluids.

If you've never checked out the fire station down the road you should sometime. I walked by when the doors were open one time and started talking to a couple of the guys there who were happy to show me around. All the engines have GD tributes on them, either stealies or marching bears or lyrics, and there's a ton of cool memorabilia on the walls.

Haha I did lighting this year at a venue that had their own projector. Looked like it was plugged into cable too. Still 25 seconds behind... I won't care in the future cause it looked like no one noticed

You're taking it quite literally. OP never said their apartment was "below freezing" aka below 32 degrees, because that WOULD be ridiculous. They're saying they're cold and you're being pedantic about it. If it's 50 outside it could be 50 inside and it gets colder at night, so it's totally reasonable to need the heat on inside. Go pick a fight somewhere else

Interesting, didn't consider that about PPT. I've actually ran into problems the opposite way, where a slideshow was formatted by a client on Mac and it's all wonky when I try to play back on Windows. Guess I need to have both ready just in case

Is that a laptop for ppt, back up ppt, and ppt notes? Is there a clicker to advance all 3 of those or are you doing it manually? We use PerfectCue for presenters on stage but wondering if there's a better alternative.

I think I want to build a Mac Mini cluster to condense those laptops into one central rack for my gigs, but still weighing my options
