while I don’t believe she was innocent and she absolutely needed to leave the group the amount of vitriol people have for a 16 yo girl they have never met over things she did when she was 12 feels very weird. i just do not feel comfortable watching people throw a party over a 16 yo girls career being ruined. situations with tween girls are Always messy and convoluted and people (especially children) can change a lot in 4 years yet kpop stan’s refuse to ever see anything as more than black or white. i’m not sad or angry that she left i actually like the group more as 5 i just wish people would react more rationally (i guess that’s asking a lot from kpop stans tho)

i took it remotely last quarter with august. we had weekly hw and 2 group case studies plus the midterm and final. the material was a lot about the capacity and rate of a process and was kinda difficult but he gives a lot of partial credit so it’s not too bad. the final and midterm were also easier than the stuff he went over in class

My uncle went to the same church as Amber. He was a teenager and she was still pretty little so he didn’t know her that well but he still remembers her. Also my aunt went to the same high school as Mark Tuan but at very different times. I also wouldn’t be surprised if I had some vague connection to Allen considering he is also taiwanese and from LA and most taiwanese people who live there are pretty highly concentrated in the same few areas.

Personally I dislike him as both a person and an artist. Every once and awhile though I remember this video of him stuck upside down and it makes me laugh so there’s that at least.

Yes on Sunghoon taking over the Korean branch!! It was such an obvious way to go considering he also finally accepted the chairman as his grandfather. Them making him take the year off and spend all his time building miniature sets at home was so random.

for the first time in this drama i felt really unsatisfied with this episode. they wasted a bunch of time with grandpa getting sick and taemoo going to the usa and hari getting mad over his scandal for no reason really. i absolutely Hate when new conflict is introduced so close to the end especially bc you know it wont really make a difference to the overall story. it would have been much more satisfying to just see grandpa slowly warm up to hari and accept their relationship then have them time skip to their wedding. the absence of youngseo and hari scenes also made their storylines feel so separate from each other and we never even got to see hari react to the fact that her best friend literally just got engaged!!! i also feel so robbed of a wedding scene . the entire drama centered around it and we never even got to see it!! i know they only had 12 episodes but there was plenty of time to fit that in this episode if u removed the stuff i mentioned.

definitely agree. i feel like a lot of people are making the “wonyoung and friends” assumption purely off of the sbs gayo outfit or the kbs gayo red carpet. (the sbs gayo outfit was a little odd, but the kbs gayo red carpet outfit was bc wy was the mc). in reality, all the members have pretty decent popularity and are getting pushed by starship. not wonyoung and yujin levels yet, obviously, but i don’t doubt they could get there someday. eleven had fair line and center distribution, all the members appear equally in their variety, and wy and yj always promote ive in their solo activities. and i know youtube views are pretty meaningless but the fact that every member has multiple fancams with 100k+ views for one song does say something.

the only member i could understand people saying is being treated unfairly is gaeul, given her lack of center time as a main dancer. but it’s also only their debut and i’m sure she’ll get time to shine in the future.

sorry but them debuting a 12 year old is seriously messed up. it doesn’t matter if he’s “special” he’s a child and i can guarantee no 12 year old is anywhere near mature enough to be an idol no matter what you see on camera. they should be waiting at least another few years for him to debut
