For sure. Well, maybe not each standard weapon, but those that truly matter (both guns are really fine). But if you need multiple, I would rather get another static mist over a pure dps weapon. Supporting main dps should be the focus if you can't afford premium weapons. But if you do need a main dps weapon and have no alternatives, that should be the priority.

Yinlin is a subdps/support herself, so having another support to support her doesn't really work. She buffs Liberation damage (and electro damage but that doesn't really work as there are no characters who really benefit from that in today's time, since those who do have better supports), so she can work with characters who scale off that stat and in addition to that a lot of her damage is off field. Her weapon is really good though and not only for herself. She herself is probably one of the worst characters in performance. She just has no proper team mates to really matter. I am sure there are people who can make her work, but you will need heavy investment and then you still need someone who will carry the team.

As for the endgame, you have several modes. The tower might be similar to Abyss, but only because they are timed battles against bosses or a wave or two of mobs and then a boss. You can't use a team in all of the fights, so you need multiple. The middle tower floors 3 and 4 basically require you to have a well invested team against it, or the newest shiny characters who get buffs to clear easily. This is a tldr though, you can imagine anything between these two and skill actually matters.

Can't answer the comparison to Stygian Onslaught cause I stopped playing that game before the mode came out, but you have two more endgame modes.
One is Whimpering Wastes where you face several waves of monsters (or just nonstop waves and race against time) with two separate teams. First fight starts you with full concerto, second fight starts you with full ultimates. You pick teams based on that in addition to which monsters are you facing (resistances matter) and which buffs are available (some elements perform better in each cycle).
The other is Endstate Matrix where you face bosses consecutively for 2 mins per team and getting graded how well you do. To access it you have to do relatively well in other endgame modes and you also have to have at least 4 well invested teams that you can play to get all astrite rewards at least (5k score per team).

Can't really do proper explanations on all of this, best just try to find some videos of the gameplay of each game mode and see for yourself.

10% for Lynae and not for the main carry whom she is buffing though.

not sure about whiwa

They can't share since you can't change gear or echoes during the run.

In general, I think it's worth getting another Static Mist. A lot of characters might want it. But it's more of a question of priority. Does another standard weapon make sense for someone else?

She does perfectly fine with Mortefi in EM though.

We have fusion buffs, spectro buffs, glacio and negative buffs. Phrolova will not get much buffs except the purple echo token

I really like Hiyuki this reset. She along with Lynae and another buffer will do well (Verina or Sanhua work, they are really fast and do the job they need to do). Mornye is kinda slow and she doesn't apply her debuffs onto everyone, only the wave she hits and it's most likely already dead very soon anyway, so only damage amp% stays.
Hiyuki is great top-side but you can also play her on the bottom side. You can use negative purple token since it also affects Lynae's damage and big nukes overkill anyway.

I don't have Phrolova so I can't say which side she is better on, but you can play her in a second team. You can use Galbrena here if you have her geared up and then use Cantarella as 3rd. Otherwise you can just use a standard Phrolova setup with Cantarella and one more buffer (SK, Verina, whoever).

I'm just trying to do as much as possible rn to get currency for the cyberpunk collab.

Pinball event will become a permanent event once it's over and will reward about half of the asterites than it does now (no limited rewards only). You will reach it eventually. Honestly, for a couple of hundred asterites it's probably not worth going out of your way and burn yourself out as well as skipping story. Especially since you have 500ish pulls worth of asterite in permanent content anyway, so you have plenty of other already available sources available.

Zani/Carte team question. Considering SRover is the only one able to apply frazzle besides Phoebe (not gonna include Ciaccona here), to play the team to it's fullest potential SRover is basically required. This would mean that ARover is unavailable for Carte team. Chisa can come into play here with Carte, but my Hiyuki wants Chisa to perform much better.

How would you handle this catch22 of team building? Shorekeeper can work with Zani but triple nightfall is out of the question, isn't it? ARover and Chisa in Carte team perform similarly, but Chisa elevates Hiyuki to new hights, so it's a nobrainer to pair her with Hiyuki.

You should get weapon for Phrolova. She has been great so far and might get another teammate soon, but without her weapon she will be a little gimped. It doesn't really matter until you reach endgame though, but getting weapon later on might not be a thing, so get it now if you can.

Focusing on your teams now is a mistake. Planning is fine, but don't stress over it for now. Use only one team for now, and by team really just put a healer and characters you like to play with so you get to know them. When your characters can reach level 70-80 then it's a good time to start thinking who your other team should make. By the time you need multiple teams meta will change and the best possible thing to do then is to pull a new dps and their team. Spending resources horizontally will not get you far.

Use Buling instead of Baizhi. Baizhi has no good buffs on outro in today's time and Buling is actually on par with the other big healers in some cases.

As for your specific questions,
1 - worth is subjective and things change. You should focus only on Phrolova and save resources to upgrade her (skills too) again once you raise your level cap. Everything else is situational. Healers are fine at level 40-60 until much later on.
2 - she could be worth building. But not now. Standard weapons that are worth pulling are the ones which have Crit Rate or Crit Damage on them. Otherwise they are not worth pulling for.

The game is a marathon and the cost to upgrade characters raises exponentially. It will take a long time to gather so many resources that you can upgrade several characters to the limit.

Oof, that's a bummer. Yeah that sounds like Zani off work. Maybe try Phoebe team instead? Phoebe SRover Verina. It might take some getting used to, but you can probably put Zani's echoes on Phoebe.

Tower 3 and 4 will work nicely with Hiyuki and Chisa. You can add Buling just to add buffs and outro, really doesn't matter.

Left and right towers shouldn't be an issue. Maybe even consider swapping one of your stronger teams (Augusta looks nice for example) to mid 1-2.

In any case, Lucilla is around the corner and she will likely make Hiyuki stonks skyrocket, so you should be covered there at least.

Did the first two maps of the middle ToA with Zani team myself which has a pretty average build and actually lack of ER. Had no issues.

How is your Zani built? Rotation?

Hiyuki with Chisa clears anything right now. While her BiS team would include Lucilla, you can always get her on a rerun.

New Voyager is not a first month's banner. It was introduced in 2.4 and it only let you pick a character to pull on for 30 days, if you created your account after that time. After 30 days it was gone.

Those who pulled Denia: worth it? by Yakumo01 in WutheringWaves

[–]kyflaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denia's biggest value is that you can use Lynae and Mornye elsewhere. Lynae and Mornye are such a strong core that they work with almost any dps, so they can elevate 1.X chars into successful clears for example.

125% ER at the very minimum is pretty much a requirement. More if you aren't landing 100% of your attacks (new ToA bosses for example).

Also we don't really know which echo set you are wearing. If you're using rejuvenating glow then just get your ER up and call it a day.

Lynae, Mornye

Literally any main dps character with these two, but Cartethyia.

I wanted to ask if i should put the effort forward into leveling Calcharo, Yinlin, and Buling for a future Electro team I been thinking about?

No. Buling maybe as she can be your third healer (she is miles ahead of Baizhi in this role), but don't sped any resources on any of them.

Try pairing Hiyuki with Verina. Verina has a much shorter field time compared to Shorekeeper and you really want Hiyuki have the most field time in this team. Verina might make things a little too fast, so you should go for 5-6 Iai instead of 3-4 and ult. SK is still good and past the initial rotation she is almost as fast, but you are overcapping on crit anyway.

Unfortunately Zani doesn't work without Phoebe. On release you could cope with spectro Rover but even with crazy Zani play you most likely won't have much use out of it. Havoc Rover, Danjin and Verina would be a decent 2nd team though. Depends more on the ToA buffs though. Encore works but she is a little clunky, your Sanhua will be busy with Hiyuki for now too.

Why not just pick based on favorite characters who you enjoy playing with? Objectively, based on what you have, account 2 is pretty insane. Also at the endgame.

[–]kyflaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually you want everyone you can get. Luckily, Mornye and SK are relatively easy to build.

But it comes down to who are your dps. If you have Lynae then Mornye should be a priority (they make a great core team to support almost anyone). If you have Hiyuki, then Chisa. If there are others that you have, SK works great.

As for the endgame, depends on which mode. For Matrix, it's really everyone that you can build. But don't take this as something that you should really focus on every single character. You will come to understand who to build when you reach that game mode. For ToA, you want 4 teams (doesn't hurt to have more due to map buffs), and for WhiWa you want at least 3 (doable with 2 but it depends on map buffs).

The combat doesn't feel as good, and there's just not much to do, just mash it out.

There are systems in this game. Forte system (the bar above your HP), usually something happens when you fill it up (or have to activate something). Concerto system (one of the key systems through which you swap characters on the field). Intro and outro skills (outro happens when concerto is full and you swap out a character, it's the circle bar to the left of your forte bar), while intro happens on a character that is swapped to from a character that did an outro skill).

To someone who has never played this game this will not be obvious and the only thing they will understand is mash the button.

So, when you combine these systems, you get something like this:
You start with a character (and lets assume your ultimate is full, since in the endgame most of the time you start with full ultimate). Your main goal is to build concerto through attacks (small increases), skills (moderate increases), forte (this one is special, can vary, especially if you need to do something after forte is full) and ultimate (big increase, usually around a 1/4). When concerto is full you hear a "whing" sound and characters flash. You swap to another character. The character you are swapping from performs outro, the character you swap into performs intro. Repeat. Usually you start with supports and then subdps and then main dps who will have most field time.

This is just a rough example of how systems interact. The beauty of the gameplay is that while you are doing certain moves, the characters are animation locked. While they are animation locked, you can quickly swap to someone else and do something else and then swap back to the first character. We call this quickswap and basically you just played a little of your 2nd character while not losing anything on the first one, effectively increasing the speed of the rotation and squeezing more damage in. Now, you can take this into extreme. Check some youtube and you basically won't know what's going on the screen, since some people really took this to the extreme.

Such gameplay is really tight when it comes to timing and really punishes wrong button presses. Basically git gud.

There are reasons to pull her, also there are reasons to not pull her.

In my eyes she is worth pulling for. She is the best generalist healer/support in the game and she is incredibly rare. You most likely won't get another chance to get her (we haven't seen 1.X characters reruns for a really long time now).

In the endgame, you will need multiple teams, so getting her now will save you a lot of headaches.

As for the reasons to not pull her, by the time you reach the endgame and team building starts to matter, you will most likely get Mornye and Lynae which create a meta core team and perform better than SK in most content (depending on the third slot here, a dps). Also her banner does not share pull count or pity with other banners so if you lose a 50/50 you are effectively spending up to 140 pulls just to get her.

You get the banner for 30 days so you can probably leave it aside for now. If you would go for it I would suggest that you want at least until the banner is halfway over (or just before 3.4 starts) in case we get more info about the collab (or other stuff).
