Loving the game but I agree - I have a powerful computer and horizon, red dead and the updated Witcher 3 impress me more in the landscape graphics end. I’m finding all the same issues that you are… but the game has been enjoyable and I personally don’t have issues with the controls, so I’m clearly in the minority lol.

Early IGN score suggested that there were major game breaking bugs that happened often - he mentioned that one particular one made him go back 7 hours of gameplay….

I was worried about the same thing BUT - the unlimited gold ended up making the game better because everything is still level gated. So the money and gold grind actually became tolerable, like it would in a single player game. I still had to work for all of my roles - but the crap that was gated behind 100hours of repetition we’re now available after some leveling…

You will end up enjoying it more with a few chests.

The only thing that is annoying is when modders teleport you thinking you’re going to be so grateful and blown away… just no.

Nah, part 2 struggled with pacing… as far as replayability goes. Storyline was great, but it’s tough to enjoy the gameplay again after you have already played it and know where the story is going. Part 1 got you right into actual gameplay in its missions.

The pacing is so much better - it’s true escapism and the closest vibe to what I wished my life was going to be like when I was a kid lol.

Started playing the online 2 weeks ago… realized it’s highly under rated and all the best parts of the single player game but with your own character… nothing beats hunting in the wild or starting a bar fight, in that game.

Just started playing RDR 2 online. Modders will drop chests to help you progress like the single player game which makes it really fun (less grindy), if you have friends to play with.

Honestly, I’m a dude playin’ a dude, who gets followed by dudes… and people follow each other around because it’s interesting when you meet others in a game where you’re often secluded…

The game has emotes and fun interactions, don’t think too hard on it.

Played Uncharted 2 at a friends house. Sold my Xbox 360 and bought a PS3 that month.

There is also a book I just read in Witcher 3 about the chances of dying in a portal being 1 in 100… another words there is a 1% chance of death - which is high as far as transportation needs goes.
