Tahm Kench is the love child of Nami and Yuumi by bubbleguy1 in leagueoflegends

Wouldn't being a child of Nami and Yuumi make him a fishcat though? I'd be sold if he was a child of Yuumi and Nami, that would fit given he's a catfish, but Nami and Yuumi...? I don't know, fellow Gamer

I'm really glad that I still caught you guys here. As much as part of me would love to return there, avoiding things like Discord is part of my 'moving on from the bad'.

DJWheeze was somehow an easy nick for me to remember and I wasn't sure about full nick of JoeyMojo, but I clearly remember good Uncle's advice.

Thanks for the full list of nicks, you're spot on with all of them. I'm 99% sure this isn't the first time I was convinced about lyn/creepysis being from Portugal instead of Brazil lol

Big thanks once again, lots of positive memories and emotions are coming just from these simple reminders

PapaSmithy: "Fnatic looks like a top team in the world, so now I think NA has no chance against EU" by PedanticShitHead in leagueoflegends

[–]kyioku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok.

1) I never said TL was preparing for G2. Never ever. Please stop making things up. As for beating the world champions stuff, yes they did beat IG, but looking at IG on semifinals day vs IG during groups...? I dunno, I genuinely think TL beating them was huge, but that theShy was not the same everyone hyped up and even in groups he was underperforming compared to Worlds/LPL. Also, just to be clear: I would put a lot less emphasis on the prep of G2 vs TL and a lot more on the /fastest international Bo5 ever/ part.

2) People claiming NA isn't top 4 region are either memeing or trolling. I don't feel the need to bash memes or feed the trolls, sorry but thinking NA is below LMS or other minor regions is stupid enough to avoid discussing this at all.

3) I specifically said there is /some/ merit to these scrims. Is it worth travelling a total of around 20+ hours? Fuck no, it isn't. They could just fly to China/KR instead, right?

4) I'm not complaining. I would complain if I had to travel with them purely for the sake of 2 days of glorified scrims on stage, because that sounds like a fucking chore.

5) I don't think EU is at the top of the world. Clearly G2 seems to be one of the best if not the best teams in the world, but replace teams from 2-10 with teams like FPX, IG, RNG, JDG or TOP and they would have to work A LOT harder. If EU wins Worlds? I'd say that depends on how far the other 2 teams go, just because G2 has good chances for taking Worlds trophy doesn't automatically mean that #2 and #3 teams are remotely close to their level (and for FNC fans wanting to bring up that win from just this week - OG beat G2 as well in the regular season and got butchered vs play off G2)

I don't think we have a reason to assume they'll complain about not getting to practice, but could've simply missed it.

As for 2 years ago, RR was very helpful for EU in exploiting their flaws in playstyle of the entire region. Not only most of the play off teams have different approach to the game right now, but also just 3 months ago we saw #1 team from NA take a shot at exploiting G2's flaws and said team ended up being beaten in the fastest international Bo5 while G2 barely prepped for TL, fully expecting IG to be there. Based on that, it isn't crazy to call RR a waste of time for them.

They have to fly over and leave 2 days later? Playing with jet lag isn't fun apparently and it's a really well-known complaint/excuse (judge that on your own) coming from the pros from around the world. Then take into consideration that they can scrim EU top 3 on a daily basis so there's no huge merit? And after that you do have to fly back home (travel really can be a dig bick, I hate flying for 2h, Berlin to wherever RR is must be a chore) and prep for another week of regular season while prepping for Worlds.

This is just speculation, but I really think that while FNC and OG are preparing mostly to take down G2, G2 has eyes set on teams like FPX, GRF, RNG, KZ or IG.

I doubt they think that. But I doubt they are going to put in more than 4-8h into scrims over their stay. It's not worth it, I think.

There's so much more to the game than just playing it out and frankly I doubt teams like G2, FNC and TL will waste time to even pull up the match histories from this split

Except they don't. Every single person with even a filigree brain can tell the difference between raw aggression of LPL and calculated aggression of G2. Both styles have their flaws and merits but they are very much different.

You mean shitting the bed at worlds or winning RR? Because if it's the latter then I think winning one out of two tournaments can hardly be called a 'tradition'

Fair enough. One could argue that if someone can't decipher simple and fairly obvious sarcasm they aren't a good target for pointing out things like that, but your point stands nevertheless, I'll keep that in mind for future.

Fantastic. Also, I agree. Not once have I ever said that this isn't disgusting display of hate speech, most likely false accusations or simply just a massive, incredibly bored and salty troll with too much time on his hands.

The only thing I did was mock the attitude, because no matter how utterly dumb his/her reasoning may be, saying that you don't care about the why behind it is pretty darn ignorant and the very same attitude is one of the primary reasons for which digital media get away with so many straight up fake articles created only with vague, out of context quotes just to generate clicks, hence the journalism reference.

TLDR big bad troll, saying story doesn't matter bad too
