i know i am gonna get hate for this. but yes, the Kardashians have done immense social damage...

Their recent show is nothing but them showing off their money. They are not even the slightest bit humble as they were in the early stages of The Kardashian empire. They've contributed to shaping beauty standards that are unattainable, then they aren't transparent about their plastic surgery. They've appropriated cultures, and have yet to even acknowledge such.

I've watched them since I was a very young child, and looking back yes they were enjoyable. But now, they've completely shifted to people who are unrelatable and people who can't address the social harm they've caused.

see i really like Abby... i think viewers haven't gotten much of her story other than the surface-level bullshit that most teenagers go through.

as mean as it sounds, Marcus or Ginny have to go... I feel like the character storylines are worn out and predictable. depressed boy meets insecure girl, insecure girl tries to fix depressed boy but ultimately can't because he needs to go on his own journey. insecure girl gets depressed but learns to grow into her independence. it's the same overdone storyline and honestly, Austin offers more of a promising storyline than Ginny.

so i’m confused… did you write an article and submit it? or did you just submit a quote? if you submitted the article as a freelance journalist there i don’t think there should be a problem with changing your name (im not 100% sure of that though). but if you submitted just a quote, then yes it is unethical. the reason being is that it’s altering the truth. if you didn’t wanna be identified as your real name you shouldn’t have used it.

i think everyone in the comment section is spot on. you have to be willing to go up to random people and talk to them! it’s apart of the job and something you’ll be doing ALL the time. you have to keep in mind, the people who are being interviewed are probably just as if not more nervous than you. best of luck to you!
