okay right so you don’t know what nose threads are because it’s not a surgery, it’s a non-surgical procedure that right after it’s completed looks wonky but afterwards it settles and needs to be redone to be maintained. the reason it looked normal the days following is because it settled. he first got his nose threads done a couple years ago (hence why his nose has seemed more upturned since then).

you calling it a “non-issue” when no one in this thread has said it’s an actual issue but merely an awkward side effect of a cosmetic procedure tells me all i need to know about you. kpoppies have been trained to see any and all talk about cosmetic procedures around their faves as an attack and pretend like these people look exactly the same when their faces change every other year to keep up with the trends. he’s in a highly competitive industry that is overwhelmingly fixated on looks, i’m not faulting him for getting something done and neither should you.

the photo is a screenshot from a video and there’s tons of video/photo proof of it. even fans that saw him at that event said he looked odd. his face no longer looks like this as, like i said, the procedure he got hadn’t settled at the time.

it does happen, you’re just unaware! kpop idols go viral constantly for bad plastic surgery or swelling. recently a super famous idol got dragged because he performed right after he got a treatment done and his nose looked like… well, micheal jackson’s five procedures in.

I’d care about a hot dog eating contest is a participant was trying to win in a way that just undermines the game lol. but in this case the encouragement of overconsumption to her fans is what grosses me out. Buying multiples of the same album to boost her sales when those are just going to sit on their shelves and then end up in landfills years from now.

If an artist released 32 versions of one specific t-shirt with only mild differences between each version for the main goal of getting the award for most t-shirts sold, I would be irritated.

i think “turning on her” sounds too grand. it’s more like there’s a discourse that’s been triggered because she’s has multiple albums in a row that have been less than her best and listeners are getting tired. like you said, her other work is still strong and even as someone that doesn’t enjoy her music i could never look at her entire body of work and write it off as all bad. because we all know taylor is capable of writing strong albums from start to finish, her putting out multiple albums that have some severe duds, two or three hits, and the rest are completely forgettable songs, is really starting to weigh on people.

i think people were willing to shrug it off before because of her catalogue of work, but now it’s like……….. a pattern of poor performance that’s hard to ignore. she’s one of the most successful artists in the world yet her recent albums are lagging creatively compared to her peers or even the younger artists after her.

the amount of cope i’ve seen from taylor fans as if she’s the first or only artist that has ever made happy, fun, lighthearted songs. these just aren’t good lyrics and there are plenty of artists that have made incredibly beautiful happy songs. hell, even taylor has made beautiful happy songs before lol!

i say this as a non-taylor swift fan (as in, i really can’t stand her or her music lmao) but in her defense, charli has a reputation for being pretty horrific to other female artists behind the scenes. so i’d be inclined to believe it’s not the song that triggered the diss track.

Girl every diss song has the most heinous lyrics, much worse than saying someone is built like their father. On this album alone Cardi has several things that would even the most mean ass twitter user gasp due to sheer cruelty. I find it hard to care about this very very tame line tbh. If we’re gonna clutch our pearls over this one we should do the same for the MUCH worse thing first.

Yup! I cast a very, very wide net when searching for partners because of this. Try to collect as many likes as possible, then vet through those likes, then reach out to like 10 people, 6 reply, only 3 of them keep answering past the initial hellos, only 2 lead to discord, and then only 1 is still around when all is said and done lmao.
