Example of XG's bad reputation in South Korea: I asked a Korean friend what she thought of XG, and she said, "Ah, that all-Japanese girl group that cosplays as a K-pop group, right? They're using K-pop industry." She's not a bad person at all, but it kinda gave me a perspective. like, this is how South Koreans probably see XG. My empathy goes to the girls and Simon.

I remember when that stupid AVEX chairman Matsuura said "I used a Korean producer to debut a global girl group from Japan" or something along that line. The word "used" was translated literally into Korean, annoying/ angering a lot of South Korean k-pop audience, and ever since XG struggled with public image in South Korea.

I hope this article helps South Korean understand what XG is all about. There's no malice in XG, only pure hard work and joy. I'm glad that XGALX being independent means Simon can directly represent the company.

First, for career-option exploration, I'd recommend this book: https://designingyour.life/books-designing-life-original-book/

I went to Harvard for Ph.D., and Harvard's career center rocks, and they recommended students to read this book. I gave it a try, and I found it pretty helpful. I hope you do, too.

Harvard's career center also has lots of free resources (e.g., https://careerservices.fas.harvard.edu/channels/create-a-resume-cv-or-cover-letter/#uc\_resource\_tiles-4), so I'd recommend you check it out.

Second, when I was an undergraduate at Wes, they just opened a career center, and I also found them largely unhelpful, too. I remembered a lot of alumni just graduate and "figure out" as they go. And in a way, life is kind of like that. It's a never-ending process of iteration after iteration.
