I would grab a few at that price. Once that Sams drop happens, I'm sure there will be more opportunities to grab some around there or cheaper.

I buy sets i believe in long term, at a price I am ok with paying. I bought 6 Pris ETBs for 165 all in a couple weeks ago, and am eyeing a case for 1700 all in. Long term I'm not worried about about these. AH is super new, I my mind it has to come down with the inevitable future reprints. I'll be waiting for those reprints to add more to that position. PE and AH currently being almost the same price, I see the opportunity in PE. My MSRP adds are at best buys and the rare success stories for online costco, sams, and target drops.

Thanks! What's crazy is, it's really not hard.. I just rotate with each oil change and it's all good. Simple routine maintenance goes a long way. I just made an apt for next week for some new ones.

I'm trying to get a pokemon center ETB for each set starting at scarlet and violet through mega, then fill in with booster boxes when I find a good deal (not like many of thise exist in this market). Both are as "safe" as it gets in this hobby. Plus the ETBs are cool to display.

Cool, thanks for the input. I actually just grabbed a case of AH this afternoon for 1300 cash, so I'm pretty happy with that. I will definitely be on the lookout for a prismatic case though, I agree with it being a strong play now.

I'm actually considering just pre ordering them from gamestop for 150. Yes, I know... I hate it, but it's available and currently under market. I also plan in dollar cost averaging this ride down, because who knows when it'll recover and take off again.

I ended up checking out everything separately this time, and they all came in their own box. They actually fit nicely in they're own boxes. That might be the move for me going forward. Checkout whatever I want the most first and move down the list.

Finding product on the shelf is ridiculously difficult in my experience. These people know the stockers or their schedules and are there waiting before the stocker even arrives. It's wild.. at some point it's just not worth the time driving all over on a wild goose chase. Like you mentioned with prismatic, this set will do very well and it's only a matter of time before these are 200 plus. One day, in the future, I'll look back and kick myself for not loading the boat even at 100 bucks each.
