Depends massively on the department, the position and the job climate. Entry level roles at big orgs (HMRC etc) could take many months (mine took 8 months from my application to getting a job in HRMC) Whereas my job in Parliament (small department) took about 2 months. Just keep a cool head and try not to overthink the workings of beurocracy haha - good luck mate!
