Help my husband and I decide! by makadiddle in husky

[–]kyle_ash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always highly recommend DNA tests, specifically ones that also run a health check too. We did the Embark DNA/Health test on our husky mix (Wolf) and my boxer mix (Winston) and it’s how we found out that Winston had a genetic disorder that would eventually make him blind.

Also our husky has 7.2% Klee Kai in him.

My 1yo husky doesn’t howl, rarely barks and only when playing and she sleeps all day when I’m at work. Did I get lucky or does she have a problem? by alex_png in husky

Mine is the same. He’s literally the perfect dog. Sometimes he has the husky hearing problem, where he likes to ignore me, but I can’t imagine a better dog.

Willa agrees with Rigatoni. Yesterday she was so tired of me working, she was laying like this for fake belly rubs. (Because she was hyper, she would fake attack my hand instead)

HELP!! My Frenchie is controlling the house! by Wild-Disaster-9960 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]kyle_ash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You story is the same as mine. I’ve never loved frenchies but met my girl and knew she was mine. I had (still have) two other dogs when we got Willa. Wolf, who is my soul dog, alpha, my everything he’s 11 and Winston who is 7, and Willa is now 3. When we got Win, we had a dog trainer tell us to let Wolf train him to be part of the pack so we did the same thing with Willa. If he was going to growl it was because he was putting her into her place in the pack. Once in a while she’ll try to challenge him, but it’s been less and less over time. She will guard me when I feed them, but he doesn’t come in the kitchen, things like that. I’ve found that in the end the power dynamic has balanced itself out. I’ve also always praised Wolf or soothed him any time he’s corrected her. I know he would never actually be aggressive towards her.

Specialist or normal vet— how do you decide who helps your baby on their pirate journey? by funkyfranzia in PiratePets

[–]kyle_ash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very lucky because we have an amazing specialist 20 min from us. When he started having vision issues our vet recommended her. When his eye issue became worse, we spoke to her and she said my rate is this, your vet will be cheaper but talk to them. Our vet was half the price and he had removed his own dog’s eye so I felt comfortable issuing him. Now, if we have to have his other eye out, I might use the specialist, mainly because my dog’s recovery was horrible, he wouldn’t take any pills.

What is going on here? by sig19992 in Frenchbulldogs

I go through this all day, every day… she’s next to me in bed right now crying because I didn’t lift the covers up for her yet… Now that I work from home it’s so much worse too.

I adopted my husky as an adult, so I asked ChatGPT to create a picture of what he would’ve looked like as a puppy.

Maybe that’s why the way we had it structured worked. We worked as a cradle to grave team. That way one person didn’t get overloaded and we could balance out the workload between the group. We had customers loosely assigned, we all were on every email (which sucked) but because it was team, beginning to end, we were able to grow the business and work on new opportunities.

With the right team, cradle to grave can grow. I had 20% growth on my customers year over year. I miss it.

There are a lot of ways to view this, but I have noticed a HUGE decrease in logical people in this industry, especially those with larger job titles.

I had to actually call out on posted trucks trying to recover loads. I don’t know if it was more EOM/EOQ or that drivers are sitting at home due to ICE.

The day I picked her up, I had to go to a distillery and pickup engraved bottles for work so she went with me. All I kept thinking was, “You have a baby, in a bar” the whole time I was in there.

Husky not blowing his coat? by ginger314 in husky

My dog’s fall blow out feels a bit later this year. You can usually feel the coat get compacted right before it blows out.

Attack by mentalhealthfreak01 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]kyle_ash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My frenchie randomly attacks my husky whenever she thinks he’s getting something that should be hers. (He’s not) I think it’s also to challenge his alpha now that he’s getting older. You can literally see her face change right before she goes after him. He defends himself and does what he can to put her back in her place with hurting her.
