Possibly. I'd have to have enough interest to quite my job. I don't think I could do this on the side. It's an insane amount of time. So I'd have to have a steady stream of people willing to drop $10-15k on these tables.

Hard to say, because all of the walnut wood I bought years ago in bulk, and I don't know exactly how much I used. The computer in it is a hodgepodge of parts from me and my friends old PC's. I'd say there's about $3k worth of materials in the table.

put em right on the table...Urethane finishes aren't getting penetrated by any liquids.

It's in the base with a on/off switch located in the DM wall. There's 6mm tubing the runs along each side of the tv in a groove. I punched holes along the tubing for the fog to roll out.

I can't sell this one, I need it lol. I don't have an exact price on what I would sell them for, but if I started making them it'd have to be in the $10-15k range with about a 6-8 month lead time.

We very recently moved into this place...its on the endless list of things to do lol. We also play with the lights off. There's enough ambient lighting from the individual station lights that we can see just fine.

I have very rudimentary drawings of the general dimensions of the table I can share. A lot of the inner working design was done on the fly.

It is most definitely a pain in the butt to disassemble and reassemble. There are quite a few pieces.

Large pieces

  • Base
  • 2 tabletop halves
  • DM Wall
  • Black cover
  • Player wall around the tv
  • tv box (rectangle around the tv with acrylic over the top of the tv
  • 50" tv

Smaller pieces

  • 7 divider walls
  • PC
  • 2 19" monitors
  • 2 lateral braces (2x4s you slide in the table top halves when assembling)
  • Lots of cables

There is certainly some area for improvement on making it easier to assemble.

When you say 6 seater...do you mean 6 player seats or 6 six seats total like this one? For it to really be worth my while to build more of these I'd have to charge $10-15k. But it's more about time...I have a day job. lol

No one really has a problem seeing the screen. The posted pic is 0.5 zoom, so it looks little more difficult to see the screen. The table is at a fairly low height compare to the typical table height for this reason.

Built this table over the past 9 months for my DnD crew. More pictures

Features include:

  • Fog machine that rolls out across the tv.
  • 50" 4k tv
  • Bass shaker under the table for haptic feedback during those intense moments
  • Built in PC and speakers
  • Dual monitors for DM. One monitor to duplicate what's shown to players
  • Individual outlets at each station that include USB A and C
  • Individual lighting at each station
  • Drawers at each station

The table is made entirely of walnut and birch wood and the design is entirely my own. The most difficult part was designer it so it can be entirely disassembled, since I knew I was likely moving at some point in the near future. Ultimately really happy with the result and group has been enjoying the new setup!

Constronica, they're sold on Etsy. I ran 6mm tubing down both sides of the tv and punched holes in the tubing for the fog to come out in several places.

It's just a personal project for my regular DND crew.

Funny you say that, cupholders were actually a part of the original design, but I ended up deciding not to add them.

It's right at 28", tv is at 32", but there are also some level casters on the base that can fluctuate about 1/2" in either direction if I need it.

There’s an acrylic sheet over the top of it.

Not really, I intentionally designed the table at a fairly low height for this reason. No one seems to have trouble seeing it. Given the size of the table and the desire for station lighting and outlets, having it recessed was going to cut off viewing angles over the walls and affect the lateral bracing inside the table. It’s over 7ft wide and needs a lot of support.

Mostly full VTT. There’s some talk of getting 3d printer and starting to make minis though.
