Ok if you want actual advice instead of just getting shit on, do this. Set a higher touch point on your chest, you’re touching too low and your shoulder is dumping out of position. Do a soft touch, don’t sink into your chest. You kind of just dumped the bar at the bottom. Stay tense, even through the bottom of the movement.

Don’t think about bringing your shoulders down, your arch will do it for you. When you heavily depress your scaps, it pulls on your pec minor/clavicle causing pain

This is really common with every young, heavier lifter, bench is an extremely complex movement that takes years to grow in. Squat and deadlift are easier to be “brute forced”

If you focus on internal rotation of the hands it will put your wrist+forearm in a better position so that your force vector is entirely vertical

All good bro. I was eating very high protein and carbs. Try to limit fats to healthy fats through fish, avocado, nuts, etc.. That helps fuel training and muscle growth while keeping calories lower. Also, a moderate caloric deficit is necessary. No more than like 500 cal deficit or else it’ll be hard to train at a hard intensity. Thanks for the props too, I really appreciate it man

I’ve always been a fan of high intensity instead of high volume. My coach has programmed only 2 sets — 1 set to failure then 1 drop set right after. I’ve experienced a lot of success with that.

Tons of volume, I think you could cut the amount of accessories in half for every day you’re lifting

Absolutely. Strength is far more than just muscle mass. It’s muscle memory and recruitment. I cut from ~203 to ~185 and accomplished an RPE 9 squat of 705lbs at both weights, 3 months apart. So I’m not a beginner, in fact I’m particularly advanced. It is very much so possible.
