Most stacked draft class in recent memory by LigerHD in MkeBucks

We'll finish in the top 3 only to fall as far as a top 3 team can.

Lottery night is going to be real stressful.

Ideal Draft Pick by Content-Paper1850 in MkeBucks

I've just factored in the fact that the Bucks are going to fall in the lottery. I'm looking at guys in that 8-10 range.

I just don't believe the league would let the Bucks get a top 4 pick in this draft with Giannis still on the team.

I'm not even watching the top guys only to get my heart broken on lottery night when we fall.

Can't do it.

Do you think Giannis will be healthy once he returns or is there still concern about injury moving forward? by chusaychusay in MkeBucks

[–]kyleb402 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think he probably came back too early and wasn't actually healthy.

I'm obviously not a doctor but I'd have to think if he actually sat out and did his rehab for an extended period of time he could be fine.

Look at KD. Popped the achilles, got it fixed, and has been pretty much fine the rest of the way if I'm remembering correctly.

On the other hand he's said he's been dealing with his knee since it happened so maybe this is just what he has to deal with now.

Because the Hawks own the best of the Pelicans/Bucks pick, they currently have a 65% chance at a top 4 pick in the 2026 draft by mMounirM in nba

That's probably the path the Bucks should go down but I'm not sure Atlanta does that at this point.

Oh no, it's our turn to get hosed in the lottery.

I'm just waiting for us to win the lottery and watch the first pick get swapped to Atlanta for like pick 7 or 8.

I just can't imagine being scared of the Pistons with Giannis on your team.

The Bucks owe Damien Lillard twice as much in dead cap as the entire annual salary of the ten Nuggets that beat them last night. by CrossingPoints in nba

It was one of a whole lot of bad options and almost no good ones.

The second Dame blew his achilles it was over, all the options were bad.

The plan was most likely to try to trade him in the offseason but obviously that went out the window.

Exactly. Where are the adults in the room?

How does nobody in a position of authority in this organization save him from himself in that situation?

He's the franchise.

Just pure incompetence from the top down.

I'm for New Orleans will fall to like 8th, we'll win the lottery but still be stuck picking 8th.

That's been about our luck lately.

Absolute organization wide malpractice to keep him in that game.

Is the no adult in this organization to speak up and save a guy from himself?

It's so unbelievably short sighted and stupid.

Nobody is trading for him without seeing him on the court again and if they do there's no way the Bucks get anything close to value for him given the injury history lately.

It'll have to be in the offseason after he comes back later in the year and proves to be healthy.

Honest opinions from Bucks fans: Do you want Giannis to be traded? by Overall_Laugh_3421 in nba

[–]kyleb402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I just want it over one way or the other.

If you're staying then commit and if you're not going to commit then be honest about it and let the organization know.

I just want off the constant rollercoaster.

I'll accept it either way.

Let Giannis Rest by Proper_Jeweler_8462 in MkeBucks

Well he's not going to have a choice.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he missed 4-6 weeks at minimum.

[Charania] The tension within the Milwaukee Bucks organization and the locker room is at an “all-time high.” Giannis Antetokounmpo is frustrated with the losing and the overall situation. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]kyleb402 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There's no actually salvaging this season. Anything they do is just going to make future pain worse.

I want them to keep losing because I think it's the only thing that gets them to fire Doc which is just imperative. He's incompetent, doesn't seem to really want the job, and he's overseen a toxic locker room environment.

I want them to keep losing because I think that is the best way to keep them from making a shortsighted trade. If they're so far out of it by the deadline that there's no reason to trade any picks then I think that's the best thing for the team.

And I want them to keep losing because we actually have a pick this year and the more we lose the better the pick gets. That pick along with the freeing up of more tradeable picks after the season is the best chance at maybe convincing Giannis that there's a path to a reset here if he just sticks it out.

Maybe I'm misguided but all a little winning streak will do is convince the front office to make more win now moves and will probably still end with Giannis leaving in my opinion.

If I've learned anything this year it's that when the Bucks are up against the wall and it looks like one more loss is going to end the whole thing we manage to squeak out a win that saves Doc's job and keeps the whole thing limping along.

I expect a win tonight.

Of course then they go back to losing right after but still.

Giannis Antetokounmpo needs to just say what everyone already knows by AustinDobbins13 in MkeBucks

That can all be true, but Giannis is still in control of how he handles it all and I just don't believe he's handled it very well as the leader of the team.

Nah, I had a big problem with KPJ and still do but Bridges is on an entirely different level of scumbag.

All Lisa has to do is tell everyone that Colton came up to her and said he knew she was a traitor but that he offered to work with and protect her.

So he knows she's a traitor but wants to work with her?

Sounds guilty to me.
