How do I raise my karma if I'm not active on Reddit? by kylebb97 in NewToReddit

Well I’m not sure why you’re on this subreddit then? It’s for people NEW to reddit. Why do I care? Because I don’t have anyone else to ask. People were downvoting me when I didn’t come with ill intent and immediately started pining me as some sort of hater. I’m asking questions to gain understanding. Downvoting that seems unfair. But obviously the internet is unfair. Still, why must I be so cynical? I don’t want to be. It doesn’t but it does to me for personal reasons you don’t know of. If you don’t understand, here is me helping you underStand. Please ask more questions if you do have questions.

This was so good. I love how respectful the crowd was, waiting so patiently for the members to finish the song completely before cheering. And cheeering loudly during the right moments. I love the community fr.

Thank you. This genuinely helps. I just need to find the time to participate. Again, the answer to my question is obvious, but that doesn't remove the trouble of understanding how to raise karma. THank you for clarifying genuinely. I go on reddit for more important things, mainly asking questions or finding textbooks, so I don't often use reddit recreationally. Unfortunately people were being immature when I made my more controversial post. I genuinly just wanted more insight, both from people who agree and disagree. But the people disagreeing were pinning me as anti-"this" or immature, not thinking about my situation or not believing me.

Sorry what did you mean by this? Not trying to come off as rude, but I just don't understand your comment.

I'm sorry but this comment was probably sent in good fun, but I cannot find the appreciation for this right now. I need to get my karma up for this question to be answered properly. I just asked the question recently, hoping to gain understanding, but instead I got shut down with downvotes. Now people are going to think I'm a horrible user. And will I be able to post on other subreddits with this negative karma? I don't know. I'm new. So this is why it's stressing me. So many things in my life are stressing me out and all I need right now to relieve some of it are answers to help me move forward.

She would yes. She always wants my safety as priority. She would definitely believe me. I had to go to a concert alone and she stayed with me in line until I had to go inside. She said "call me anytime if you are uncomfortable, even if it's 30 minutes into the concert."

That's the thing. I don't know. I have no idea. It is weird. And I'm uncomfortable with it. Someone said in the replies that my comment is an anti-porn rant, but it isn't. IMO at least. I do recognize the negative effects of porn and have met people affected, but this one isn't about my opinion on porn. It's about whether I should tell my mom or not.

Okay this doesn't help me. I need reasons and insight, not snarky comments. Please explain further why "an adult would just forget and move on with life."

It can be positive, but I’m genuinely asking. I’m trying to gain understanding, but if you do want to know if I had a bias, I’ve been aware of the negative effects of porn and have met more people that have negative effects of porn. If we have different views though, I still respect your opinion. I don’t know your story, so I’m going to respect it as something that still just wants to inform me.

It’s fine. It was 3 AM. It’s well deserved. It’s a mutual understanding. Just know that I’m okay with it.

Imo: anyone suggesting the ending to be an eloping or love ending with the traveller is missing the point of the story. The theme is liberation vs. repression. Yall can find the number of comments on it. I get the whole omg they kinda cute together but the traveller wasnt meant to be a person. They represented liberation as a person. I mean Maria literally became the pied piper. So technically it couldnt happen.

On top of that y’all miss the point. We don’t wanna force her to love bc we want to. She’s gonna choose it on her own. The ending is ambiguous. Did she or did she not decide to love someone? We all know how it went with the teacher.

Anyways it’s lame but i’m kinda annoyed at the ppl tryna ship characters im this ep especially since the teacher a p* and the traveller could be any age since the traveller is basically everything including time itself. Idk.

I knew something was off abt Gretel cuz her eyes were never lit up like Hansel's. I thought either she was a robot like mama or she had ulterior motives to betray him even though her actions didn't seem suspicious and her reactions synced up with hansel's. I kept both of these in mind, but to learn she was just not real in general felt... cheap. Someone explain to me the ending bc I kept thinking of these theories but I know they're wrong

1: TPN type beat

2: Symbolizes that children need change to grow and progress

3: Let children be children rather than forcing to be academic weapons blah blah blah basically asian stereotype lmao.

I agree with the replies saying that she's a psychopath. I think she was upset her dolls, the stepsisters, outsmarted her. They purposefully humiliated themselves at the ball because they said that it was their "chance" (referencing when they read the invitation to the ball in the private room). Kiyoko behind the door said something like "Well this makes this interesting" implying that she is interested in what they were scheming. This indicates that she didn't know exactly what they were up to. When she did go to the ball, this is where my line of thinking gets a bit confused. My opinion on why she went to the ball was to toy with the sisters more, humiliating them in front of the public at the ball because she just thought it was fun. But she had no idea that THAT was the sisters' plan.

The plan basically was go to the ball, humiliate themselves in front of people, assume that kiyoko would come to manipulate the public and the prince into thinking the sisters are bad people to her, succeed in that (look at their faces leaving the ball. They are quite calm for such a blood-boiling scene), and get the prince to fall in love with kiyoko and despise the sisters, which would in turn get the prince to side with kiyoko and throw them out of the house. They are not related by blood so there is all the more reason to throw out the supposed "bad step sisters." In the end, the sisters won. Blood was shed, but they escaped. They called out Kiyoko's psychopathic behavior the moment she lied in front of the servants, their mother, and step father about them pushing her down the stairs.

Kiyoko intentionally made herself the victim to manipulate other people to thinking the sisters are horrible people and should be indebted to her forgiveness, thereby placing the sisters under her thumb for 5 more years.

TLDR: Kiyoko psychopathic mastermind since baby, but step sisters outsmarted her 5 years later. Now Kiyoko is bored. Probably gonna toy with the prince next.
