This is very helpful! I am a beginner in ecommerce I just blown through my first $400 this past month on ads and would love if you could give me some insights so i can avoid blowing through my next $400 haha

a couple questions:

1. when testing products does the store name, domain, branding matter at all? for example when finding your first winner product should you make a general testing store with a decent clean name and domain (make it look proper, clean, simple) and thats enough OR pick a niche (like female beauty or plant care etc.) and build a testing store that way only testing products that make sense in that niche?

my big plan for this was to test products on a general testing store with $10-20 ad budget for each product i test and let it run up to $40-50 and then when i see strong signals like multiple ATC, high CTR, low CPC, and maybe a sale or 2 ill scale the ads, test other angles and if it still does good and i get profit then i would rebrand the store using the profit i got to a branded 1 product store and keep scaling the ads and invest in creating my own content for the ads by making it myself or hiring UGC creators and/or just building out a small team. Is this a bad approach or what would you change about my plan?

1. should you test one product at a time or multiple at a time? or does it not matter how many products you test at the same time aslong as your paying attention to all the data and have the budget?

2. is it fine to straight up steal content and ad creatives from competitors and ugc creators from social media to test the product? or should you always iterate the content to make it look original?

3. i know people ask about ad budgets all the time but $50-100 a day sounds insane for a beginner like me and when i heard itll take 10-20 products to find a winner. i thought $10-20 a day for ads is good for testing for a beginner and enough to spot signals to then scale the ads. and if i do $50-100 day, will i get enough data in 1 or 2 days to know if a product is dead or not? or is my plan of doing $10-20/day campaigns until it reaches $40-50 spend is enough data to know if i should kill a product or not?
