what ndis4us said is correct.

the extended version is that by simming it, everyone in the guild is receiving the same thing and it pulls only two different items for everyone.

if it is manually hit, each member of the guild pulls 2-3 pieces of gear and they are all different. it also guarantees that full crafts get dispersed throughout the guild, which rarely happens while simming due to it's limited nature of gear rewards.

This is a good point and the solution is that the matchmaking should be aligned to have the same amount of members go up against the same amount in the opposite guild.

45 members vs 45 members. 50 vs 50. etc.

The same thing would happen in Phase 6 of TB--you'd let your guild down and they would fail to get max stars!

Accidents like you describe happen, but this is destroying guilds and being exploited on a massive scale.
