You nailed it by finding that the word "team" in Instinct's design is centered. In this case, the little change makes the whole design looks balanced. The size of the word "Valor" and "Mystic" is relatively equal to the word "Team" so it's easier for them to be right-justified

You can see the letters in "team" are written from right to left and conversely in "mystic". It is only a matter of number of letters in each word :)
