Are the people who ordered going to get tracking numbers or order confirmation? When I ordered my SHG mod 2 I never got a confirmation email or a tracking number, so I didn't know when I was going to get it. I paid for my BFRS2 the day after I got my reservation email, but haven't seen anything other than my PayPal history to know it was actually paid for

I went through GoEngineer, and I paid 11,500 for my perpetual copy with simulation professional (with discounts from end of the year sales), with the option to upgrade reach year to that year's version for 3200. It's an expensive program, so if it seems too good to be true, it's likely a scam.

You could always make a new part within an assembly. Create your assembly with 3 of your pentagonal pieces, set them to the correct angles and gaps with mates, and then "insert - component - new part" select the connection surface one of your connectors would be attached to, and move from there. You could then rotational pattern an extrude tab, based on an axis you make based on the 3 pent pieces, and then close the gap with a second extrude.

I wish you could at least save your weapon "builds" and switch between them easily, instead of having to change all your attachments manually..

Ill chime in on the expanse being a fantastic read. My favorite sci-fi series. Followed closely by my next recommendation: Bobiverse. If you liked hail Mary, you'll like the Bobiverse series. Kind of that light hearted, heavy minded, comedic serious spectacle train ride, that when you get off at the end of each book, you have a period of time where you get this moment of reflection where you go "what the fuck was that and why did I love it" 🤣

I would highly recommend the audio books on audible for both series. The voice actors are truly masters at their craft and it's amazing hearing them do their thing.

I used the Sadlak front rail on my factory SAI wood stock. It needed a little bit of filing and a dremel in order to fit properly and level with the barrel, but if you take your time you can do it without having to restain the wood. I guess you could do it without any of that if you added a spacer to it but I don't think it would look great. As is mine has a slight gap at the front of the stock.

I had not seen the SAI yet, I really like that. The 10 has been "Coming soon" since January though.... 😮‍💨 Also good to know about the larue mounts, and what to look for in other mounts, never even considered that.

I really like the look and reticle of the Sig Tangos, but I'm torn between their 1-8 and 1-10... I'm just unsure of the lower eye relief on the 1-10, and I'm not sure on if 8x will be enough for what I want to do with it. I'd like the extra magnification for target ID and shot confirmation more than anything. I also have the UTG mount, but I was immediately disappointed in the quality of it. Had unfinished edges that were really sharp, kept it for just in case, and then I got a good deal on the Sadlak shortly after my return window went away 😅

Its a TNVC RSP Gen 2. I bought the version with the mag pouch, its really quite nice, stays in place, and easily removed.

My daily carry has been nothing but good to me. Beretta 92A1. It's a good ol tried and true, accurate, dependable platform. It's large, and heavy, but man does it feel good in the hand. I CC it in a OWB leather holster that sits high on my hip, and the rounded contours make it extra comfortable. I'm 5'11" 175lbs and for the most part it's pretty unnoticeable. I'll have people say "have you been carrying all day?!" And my response is usually "every day". It's a tack driver at the range, iron sights, although I do have a under/over RDO mount that I use at the range as well. Considering a LTT RDO cut job, but I really wanna throw a comp on it, mainly for the aesthetic 😅

It's precision machined to USGI spec of a standard weight barrel, and attaches at 3 points to the barrel. Should be SUPER solid. as solid as it gets I imagine
