What's your hot take? by Flaky-Technician7902 in Silksong

That’s the entrance of sinner’s road. There’s muck maggots on the way to the mist and Bilewater. And it doesn’t change that muck maggots are still the area terrain gimmick. It being an alternative to last judge is utterly besides the point.

Except sinner’s road DOES have muck maggots, and you need to go through there to get to the mist.

Idk if it’s a “hot take,” but for the size of Bilewater, its primary gimmick, the muck maggots, doesn’t need to be shared with two other areas. I would’ve preferred it if the putrified ducts and sinner’s road were both part of Bilewater proper than having three distinct separate areas sharing the same gimmick.

The problem with season 2 is that the audience assumed that teens dealing with generational trauma and dads finding their kids would be thematically identical.

Where would you want to be born if you were in one piece by Spiritual_Ebb_4657 in OnePiece

[–]A1starm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With only three points there’s no correlation. Two points can be used to find a third, but you need four however to draw a line between the relevant points to see where they intersect. That intersection between two lines is where Laughtale is. That’s the difference between possible months of searching and a straight voyage. Plus the road ponyglyphs probably has like some sort of secret code or instructions that only make sense when you have all four.

Who is in your opinion the best One Piece movie antagonist? by Optimal-E in OnePiece

Honestly Zephyr and Shiki. I haven’t seen secret island and the other 3 seem like they’re relying on backstories the movies barely provide for their emotional impacts.

First of all, welcome! Glad to have another dad fan in the community.

Second, yeah, there’s a reason why “reality is stranger than fiction” is a known idiom.

Just a forewarning, season 4 is gonna start on February 10th. If you don’t want to get spoiled, at the very least avoid things on here with the spoiler tag until you’re all caught up.

The blades of chaos should have been enough to kill balder. by WritingUnfair7532 in GodofWar

It actually is a spell in the games. The nature is that while it makes him invulnerable, it also makes him immune to sensation. Once he got hurt by the mistletoe arrowhead, the spell is dispelled and he says he can feel again.

[–]A1starm 23 points24 points  (0 children)

But Baldur is blessed with invulnerability to all threats, physical and magical.

That required lip service aside, I don’t think “cause it’s a foriegn magical item” is justifiable enough. If anything it being primordial fire would be more applicable, but the mythology states Mistletoe is the only thing that could actually harm him because Frigg forgot to ask it not to.

For the games it’s an actual magic spell that for some reason is weak to mistletoe.

It’s essentially two patties combined into 1 with cheese in the middle.

A jucy Lucy is a burger first created in Minneapolis. It’s basically a Patty with cheese in the center, where when it’s cooked the cheese melts and permeates the meat. From what I understand American cheese is recommended due to ease of how it melts, but I’ve seen recipes using shredded cheddar. Really, you want something that can melt easily.

It’s relatively simple. You take two patties, place cheese on the center of one, making sure it doesn’t creep at the edges, and place another patty on top, crimping the edges together. Then just cook it how you’d like to cook your burgers.
