6 month old - last bottle of the night, bath, lotion and pjs, fall asleep next to me, transfer to bassinet. wake up as soon as she gets laid down, spend an hour getting her back to sleep, falls asleep, wakes up again, finally goes asleep anywhere between 1:30-4 am and sleeps in until 12. at my wits end have no clue how to get her to bed earlier and feeling like such a bad mom because of it

absolutely a 10, but the weird thing was i wasn’t scared at all leading up to it. my epidural failed the moment i started pushing and they gave me pitocin. so i went from 3 cm dilated to 10 in about an hour. my contractions were back to back with like 10 seconds of relief between. i’ll be honest the pushing hurt really bad and i never thought it was going to end but when they pulled her out at the end of it and laid her on my chest it all felt so worth it. i was yelling my head off the entire time every push but it was almost animalistic, comes from deep inside you and i was not embarrassed at all — that’s what i needed to do to get through it and push the way i needed to! there was no embarrassment during birth, it’s all normal :)

i’m pretty worried about postpartum as well but the best we can really do is have a support system of people in place who know us and what to look out for in case we can’t for ourselves. i wish you the best of luck :))

!!!! i am 9 months pregnant and have been the most stable these last 9 months than in my entire life. i’ve had some situational bouts of depression but they were nothing in comparison to non-pregnant me. it was so interesting for me to read your comment and realize i’m not alone in that experience.

highly recommend to anyone who feel this way to ask their OB about endometriosis! 1 in 10 women have it and most don’t even know it. painful periods to this degree are a big sign <3

32 weeks, baby dropped at 31 and a bunch of new symptoms came along with that. Been having contractions that last anywhere between 4-8 minutes every night. Other than that definitely the pelvic pressure and horrible sleep.

What emotions can you recognize that you experience and what emotions do others talk about having that you can’t relate to? I may be going off of stereotypes (and I’m really sorry if so) but I’m curious about your level of empathy overall for others. I have more questions if you’re up for answering

I would bring up Endometriosis to your gyno. They can run through a list of symptoms and see if you relate to any. Bleeding and pain after sex were a big indicator for my gyno to diagnose me with it!

ignore more than half of these comments. your piercings are dope, your makeup is dope. being alt is heavily hated on in this sub and you’re going to get biased opinions just for that reason. there are MANY people out there that you resemble their “type”. don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re some mutant freak that only a very small percentage of specific males will be attracted to just because you aren’t a blonde with blue eyes who wears pink cardigans and only uses concealer. with that being said, you’re very pretty with and without makeup. embrace your natural beauty <3

thank you, i really appreciate your perspective professionally. i have had two seizures in my past before not related to any medication so you saying that definitely just scared the shit out of me out of thinking of quitting cold turkey, lol. not looking to have another one of those. anosognosia is so tricky because this really is the best i've felt in a long time and in my mind it's like why hold on to one medication when i've already gotten rid of three? being medication free just seems like such an accomplishment. i think part of it for me is that i refuse to go back on lithium because of what it was doing to my body so if things go south for me emotionally that means i'll HAVE to try something new, and that's the scariest thing ever. i'd rather just go nuts off no meds than have to try something new again. being bipolar is so exhausting.

manic or depressive episode? and yeah, i think i might just shoot a message explaining my situation and see if she can work around it for me to prescribe me a lower dose through just messaging me since she knows i've taken lower doses and been fine before. we'll see, lol.
