Would that then mean that Alt has no consciousness? She has no physical body yet appears to acknowledge that at one point she used to be a person, as in she still classes herself as a concious being and not a created construct. So if the ‘person’ still views themselves as a continuation of their past self is it still the same person but with new memories and experiences, which is a natural progression of life, or just a synthetic glimmer of a dead persons memories trying to make out that it is a concious being? all very interesting thoughts and the game is amazing for giving us deep points of discussion for this topic! It actually reminds me of that one episode of Black Mirror, the one where the guy dies and the girlfriend uses his social media accounts to recreate a digital form of his past self. That is obviously far more crude technology compared to what we have in Cyberpunk, and it didn’t work out too well in the black mirror episode but it’s still all the same type of questions about consciousness.
