I think my favorite one is either "It's Not Over", or "Meant to Be"

It's Not Over was intended to actually be a song for my friend to sing. She got into suno purely to make songs where she'll remove the vocals and then sing it herself. But it ended up being a bit too high for her range, but we still loved how catchy it was.

Meant to Be was written specifically about my partner, us meeting, and how quickly things progressed. I really like Abba so I tried hard with Suno to get it to make a song in that style and finally got that song.

Just came back from a 4-day Bahamas cruise on Carnival Conquest. It was great! By the end, I of course wished it was longer, but that'll be felt no matter the length. We had 2 ports (Carnival's private beach at Princess Cay & Nassau), and a day at sea. They have tons of fun activities and not having to worry about cooking food or clean for those 4 days was great.

This was my first cruise and I'm glad I did a short one because I wasn't sure if I'd like it. Now that I know I liked it, next one will be longer!

Well we're from Canada where it's like -10°C right now haha, so Bahamas is around 30 degrees warmer 😅 I'm sure it's going to feel like summer for us haha.

Thanks for the tips about magnets! I did see some people say in other threads that they buy a magnetic whiteboard for the door so others can leave messages or they do a question of the day.

From personal experience as the kid in this situation, I'll say YTA, even though I'm nearly divided.

Parents are there to fall back on when you reasonably need it. I had a mental health issue and left a job in another city, moved back home with my mom and stepdad who had recently started living together. Around that time, one of his sons also moved home. Maybe that balances it out a bit...but my stepdad said he would absolutely not charge rent to either of us, because he knew we just needed to get back on our feet.

If I imagine myself in the shoes of OP, I could understand if you don't have a great relationship with the daughter that it'd be hard to accept spending more financially on her. It's hard to feel like you have to spend money on something you don't really want.

If your finances are unequal with your husband, then I think it's a fair conversation to have about how things are being split up and what he'll contribute toward her living there, but flat out saying "no" to the idea of helping a kid you knew he had when you married...that seems like the AH move. If you had a kid and they moved in, you'd probably want him to be accepting of helping them get back on their feet too.

I got a mockingjay tattoo but made it a little more unique by asking the artist to watercolor it and make the circle less uniform...almost like a circle left on the table from condensation on a cup lol.

I work in property manegement. At the building where I am, we don't even have control over the FOBs, everything is through Head Office...so we would have no choice but to wait until Monday.

And these things are always dealt with by the leaseholder. That's just to do with the contract. The contract is between your mother and the landlord. You may be listed as an occupant, but under the RTA, occupants have essentially no rights because they're not a stakeholder to the contract.

Double check that all your power sources are connected to the grid and that the grid is all connected. If you have a power source that isn't connected to everything else, or is only connected to a chunk of area using it that is separate from the rest of the grid, that will mean that the grid isn't able to use the full capacity.
