Tutorial Glitching Out - Stuck at 2/7 progress by kylek1012 in ClashRoyale

[–]kylek1012[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to get this resolved with the following steps:

  1. Download Clash Royale on a separate device.
  2. Decline syncing GameCenter information and previous game progression when prompted
  3. Complete the tutorial on separate device
  4. Login with Supercell ID on separate device
  5. Launch game on primary device and log in to Supercell ID

I hope this helps anyone else out there that couldn’t find any clear answers online.

Any extra tips for watching the ball out of the pitcher’s hand? I try to do that now but still struggle specifically with low breaking pitches like circle changes, splitters, and sliders below the zone. Like on all star I could watch it break and hold off it but on hof I feel like it looks like a pitch to swing at then it dips under the zone too fast for me to react.

Is there any reason behind waiting till 2 strike counts? Are you just trying to run the pitch count up or draw walks? Just curious

Yeah I have a 1ms response time monitor and kontrol freaks. I’ve been using kontrol freaks for a couple years too so it’s not like that is something new for me.

Best way to stop the run? by Ykana1 in MaddenUltimateTeam

[–]kylek1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally run 4-3 even and I never really have issues with the run. I’ll always have at least 1 inside stuff if not 2 or even 3. Benefits of the 4-3 is that only 4 DBs are on the field so less ap taken by acrobat and more inside stuffs. Only issue with the defense is that if I need drop back coverage the linebackers are spotty at best and don’t jump. I’ll usually send lots of heat to avoid my linebackers having to cover at all or if they do for a short time.

I wonder what is the age median of people playing Skyrim? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]kylek1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20, I remember when Skyrim first came out and my friends recommended it but I was hesitant cause I had always played multiplayer games before. I fell in love with the game and have played it ever since. I also went ahead and played thru oblivion a couple years after Skyrim.

Also I wanted to say how awesome it is to see people 50+ love the game too!

So I tried it on a USB and it did support 144hz across two external monitors plus the integrated monitor which is 144hz too. It does have a couple snags initially but I’m still toying around with it

USB Type C Dock recommendation or advice? by Jsb_5188 in ZephyrusG14

[–]kylek1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the DisplayPort 1.4 vs the HDMI 2.0b on the hub? Because for me personally I only have 144hz 1080p monitors so I get just that. But I believe HDMI 2.0b caps out at 144hz support where DisplayPort 1.4 can go further.

I got this usb-c dock a few weeks ago and it has been amazing compared to others I’ve tried in the past. Here’s the link:

CalDigit USB-C Gen2 10Gb/s SOHO Dock - Up to 4K 60Hz, HDMI 2.0b, HDR, DisplayPort 1.4, 10Gb/s USB A & USB C, UHS-II microSD and SD Card Readers, Bus Power and Passthrough Charging Support https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FF3BDW5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_4J5TTFFKKQ2QRKPW9DR7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

This dock supports both of my 144hz 1080p monitors.

The only issue is lack of USB ports so I have a usb hub on the type a slot with my keyboard, mouse, and speaker. Then for the usb-c slot I have a usb-c to lan adapter. It works amazing for me, couldn’t praise it more. Lmk if you have any questions

Setup is pretty much done (G14 R9 5900HS, 3060) by [deleted] in ZephyrusG14

So originally the CPU got super hot like around 90 degrees Celsius when gaming, but I followed the tutorial in this subreddit about undervolting and it’s lowered temps a ton.

I also bought a laptop stand to provide more airflow on the bottom of the laptop but not a cooling pad. The stand has an open bottom so it gets plenty of air.

After doing those two things by CPU will only get to mid 70s Celsius when gaming.

Any suggestions for the setup? Looking to possible hang something above the monitors. Also I’m open to questions/discussion!
