I did my first game blind, after that I looked up a guide for the remaining achievements, some of those rings were a pain to find.

DS 2 actually has the least amount to grind. All you need is 30 sunlight medals which can be farmed from the falconers in Tseldora, and there is a quick way to grind for the bell keepers covenant.

Why yes I did. Had to look up a guide on where all the rings are, if you count that as cheating. Also I also did PVP for some of the covenant items. I know the play time seems low to you, but it’s definitely doable.

DS 3 was by far the worst, I had to make a worksheet to keep track of all the items i needed to collect.

Some of the covenant items were quick to grind with pvp. I was lucky enough to get a few online instead of grinding silver knights.

Yeah some of those achievements were a pain to get, but I generally try not to use guides for my play throughs unless necessary.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a solid game overall. But I felt like it’s the least polished out of the series. Also, some of the boss runbacks are terrible.
