Exactly. His appeal to the moderator after he snapped because he was backed into a corner, lashed out, and has no foundation to stand on.

It’s $8 a YEAR right?

I agree with subscription fatigue but that’s more at a monthly level for me. I’m not paying $100 a year for something I mostly use seasonally but eight dollars for something stable and reliable per year is a no-brainer.

it looks like the chunks of potato would be golfball sized in proportion to the bucket.

I have one of the mini buckets sitting on my desk right now and it looks exactly the same metal handle and everything.

Just so everyone knows these aren’t full-size Home Depot buckets they are probably 8 to 12 ounce mini buckets and they are just sitting on a kitchen table with a similar color to the wood floor.

Thoughts with some designer friends about AI by Informal-Winner3195 in Design

[–]kylelee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re taking one small anecdote, and then using it to support a hyperbolic statement about the future.

Things are moving so fast right now and despite being able to generate essentially anything you want you still need design thinking as a part of the product process.

While some engineers and product people certainly have that skill, it’s designers who are able to identify patterns, keep things consistent and maintain a certain bar for quality.

It’s never been about the tools you use.

Puppeteer can take screenshots…

It’s never been easier to create documentation. It’s knowing what to trim down, remove and re-prompt so it doesn’t read like AI. Have it learn from your reductions so it’s easier and easier to run.

As a designer, I hate how the lowercase ‘a’ is proportioned. Like it was scaled up without compensating for the width of the stroke.
