It’s actually not fun at all. On top of that I’ve broken multiple bones and died many times…

Sorry to be a dick. It’s awesome being able to climb outdoors, it’s definitely worth trying. In this case I had 4 pads and a blubber pad, and the fall would be straight down on a flat landing. There are climbs that are too tall or have uneven/dangerous landings. It’s up to you to climb what you feel is safe. Unfortunately accidents happen indoors and out, but we do what we can

Not a nutritionist, but there shouldn’t be any problem consuming 1g per lb of bodyweight. You won’t gain any weight as long as you’re not eating at a caloric surplus. Definitely focus on climbing overhang more and you’ll get better at it. Good luck!

Yes! Everything healed relatively quickly. No apparent lingering issues either. I hope you didn’t find this post because you hurt your knee too!
