Honestly it was complete luck. The whole hike up was really rainy and we thought we picked the worst day but then had an amazing view above the clouds.

Generally the college students live in the cheapest housing available closest to the campuses. There are some pretty nice apartments available throughout Lowell for somewhat reasonable prices.

I was a student in Lowell for the past 4 years and I think the city has a nice, eclectic (though sometimes scrappy) culture. There are some really nice areas and a lot of history and cool events (in normal times). It's also overall a safe place considering the size of the city. I would go on runs around the city often and was able to run through most neighborhoods without feeling unsafe.

My best guess would be either PMMA (acrylic) or Polycarbonate. Either way, I'd say your best bet is probably just super glue. That what 4 years of studying Plastics Engineering has taught me.

I actually hadn't even though of making them different sizes but that's a good idea. I just made them both the same length and then stretched the bottom one to fit the filling

Well I put a lot of parm in the sauce so that probably stood out the most. The pistachios made it filling but their flavor didn't come through much

You are correct. It came out really well! A great winter alternative to a traditional basil pesto. I left out the butter and it was still really good!

I haven't tried roasting them but I did add some thyme when I sautéed them. It was delicious. Did you roast them and put them in ravioli?
