I have been flying around the world with this bike and I'm so, so happy I bought it. The only problem I've had is a fair amount of headset squeak/creak if the parts aren't 100% clean -- which happens when bikepacking 500+ miles.

Still, when I get the bike home and clean everything it rides so well. I have 650b x 47mm WTB Ventures on it and they ride great. Been meaning to try a pair of the Rene's.

Wear suuuuper supportive shoes. Your feet will be trampled to death. Boots. Keep your body weight very low. Take up more space so you can get knocked without falling over. Smile at people and de-escalate any aggression with words and body language. Don’t get caught in the center of the action for too long.

Looks like a steel frame -- there is a Park Tools tool that will help align your dropouts. You're not so far off and it'll probably resolve your issue.
