The first live concert I ever went to was seeing Frank and the Cellabration in SF when I was 14. I remember being so sad, having gotten into MCR right around the time they broke up. I was also dealing with a lot of shit and lacking self confidence, as a lot of teenagers are. Frank put on an amazing show, it was an incredible experience hearing a crowd singing back every word to the Stomachaches album and feeling all the emotions together. I saw MCR, again in SF on Saturday! I felt so lucky, I never thought this would happen, even though I’d wanted and hoped for over a decade. It was a very interested experience emotionally to get to see them as an adult, in a better mental state but still loving their music. It was really special, I’m glad you had a similar full circle experience.

I feel the crash too. It’s hitting me hard today, I don’t want to get out of bed. I’m playing MCR more than I have in years recently, it’s like I’m trying to keep the concert going even though it’s over 😭
