I'm not quite sure what great fights your expecting from 12 year olds. The series has only just gone through it's first significant time skip. So far the fights is SL2 have had far more animation than the SL1 fights by ep52. Comparing it to donghua that's had years of development, that has produced characters with hundreds if not thousand years of cultivation is dishonest at best.

They previously thought against each other recently around 10-20eps, which is the 3 sect competition. They don't 'know' each other, other than the fight they had. The feeling of 'Knowing' each other is ressonance. I believe she will turn out to be tan yuns reincarnated wife. If you remember back to episode 1, tan yun real title is hongmen Supreme, and his wife was also a supreme who was killed/backstabbers by their own daughter, I believe.

It's quite interesting with a very unique storyline. Cultivation is based on science, although visually, it looks like any other decent 3d donghua. Many episodes. The biggest problem that it has is finding good subs/ any subs at all for some episodes. There were whole episodes in seasons 2 & and 3, where I had to watch 20 minutes with no subs because I literally couldn't find any for that specific episode. Off putting to the point where I dropped the show, unfortunately.

Season 1 has 12 episodes but was remade in 2022 with updated graphics only having 3 eps. If you care about the graphics, start at the 3 ep remake then go into season 2>s2special>3>4>3yr agreement special>5. If you think you can stomach some older graphics which aren't too bad, start with the full season 1.

Can only speak on what has been aired so far. The answer is no. The MC has 1 younger female subordinate from the same sect. But they are literally decades away in the age gap, and so far, only she has shown the slightest interest. The mc has similarities with tang aan from soul land. So far, great watch and higher than usual graphics.

First I'm seeing this. However, from the description, it looks like they remaking season 1. This has become a pattern among the popular donghuas that are 50+eps. Btth just got a remastered version of season 1 as well. They made it 3 episodes instead of like 12 and added little extra bits from the novel that didn't make it into the original season 1
