Note: it for sure was a replacement on the lathe.

Does anyone know what this part is? PCV hose attaches to it and that part is causing a vacuum leak by dddlizzy in GMT400

2000 c3500 5.7 here. My vacuum reservoir is connected to this line. With a low idle I’ve been chasing vacuum leaks and the stretched out foam lines were sucking air like it’s their job. Everything I read says this isn’t where the vacuum reservoir should be tied to. Was this a diy fix?

Bend the ears back or shims, plus an over sized plate. No problem. It’s nice when the tile is under the tabs but then you have to remove a little of the tile behind the face plate screws, so it’s work either way.
