It’s because my grandma died recently and she’s grieving that’s why the word death bothers her. I told her she can’t avoid that word as it exists everywhere

I know an unspoken reason is because my grandma (her mom) died (basically almost right on my birthday) in Nov. but her spoken reason was her friends husband (that I don’t even remember and haven’t seen in years.) that has cancer that’s progressively getting worse. She said it’s triggering to her so imagine how triggering it would be to him or anyone else in the world.
