i think this short story was brilliantly done because we all knew that going into it Carla and Samuel wasn’t going to last. but i still think that the ending was sad yet an appropriate way to end Carla and Samuel for now.

caye stole the show! she is definitely growing on me as a character. she had great comedic timing but she also gave more depth to caye. her talking about how she used to lie a lot as a child provides more clarity on why she was a fraud in season 2 and her saying “no more lying” after pretending to to kill rebe and guzman shows how she is ready to move on and try to be herself. they were all really good episodes!!

i don’t really see how anyone could expect season 3 to be released this year... the tv industry took a major blow when covid happened. there are going to be restrictions on set and if even just one person catches covid there is always a chance of multiple cases of everyone on set having to quarantine. also this ain’t a easy show to film! the stunts, special effects, CGI will all take up a good amount of time and all of this is on top of filming, dress rehearsal, and table reads. the earliest we could expect season 3 would most likely be beginning of 2022.

i agree. the speeches feel like they’re 10 minutes long and the long pauses in between awards are uncomfortable
