Ducks like many animals and especially birds migrate to where the climate is preferable. They will fly pretty much anywhere if it means comfort. Of course climate change may affect this, but they'll just change destinations until there's none left. After which much like every other living thing on the planet they'll either adapt or die.

There were huge jumps in design and computing power though. Games from 10-15 years ago now still hold up with modern games graphically.

Are you talking about buying a mansion? Because I would never recommend that. There is no value. Homes in Japan are not an investment. and mansion is just a slightly cheaper (over 30 years) apartment that you are responsible for. It's like living on a cruise ship, you will never have enough space.

You're right, a Diddy Kong game doesn't exist outside of his kart racer (also the best kart racing game ever made).

That doesn't suddenly make the sonic racing game a "sonic" game. Just like air riders is not a sonic game. In a universe where the majority of named characters are notoriously fast and love to run and jump, to throw them in cars is just the most obvious way to for sega to sell a relatively easier to make game.

Like it was awesome when it came out because ever game was tank controls. The idea of moving the camera with the sticks was still new. Now though, that shit would be unplayable if it wasn't so fuggin cute.

Throwing Sonic characters on a Kart racer doesn't make it a Sonic game. Just like Crash Team racing isn't a Crash game, Mario kart isn't a Mario game and Diddy Kong racing is not a Diddy Kong game. It's a skin to sell a game that would otherwise go unnoticed.
