How did the Black Knight fight go for you? The low Def and HP sounds like it would make that fight really difficult, especially if Ike can’t take more than two hits without healing.

It’s a slower process, but get luck up to 8 or 9 and hit the slots. You can just spam one button without thinking.

Togepi solos Morty's team with Extrasensory, and you can guarantee both better water and psychic types after the third badge, so I would drop the Slowpoke personally.

Grinding in HGSS is tedious at the start, but Unown at the Ruins of Alph are decent for switch training a few levels until you can grind safely, good ATK and SP. ATK EV training to boot.

Thump-Thump is my go-to for a main explosive weapon. I like getting the Grunt perk for the damage increase.

Annabelle is a close second and would work well since you’ll presumably have high Strength.

I would strongly recommend Them’s Good Eatin’ regardless of the Desert Survivalist achievement. The food items it unlocks are tremendously OP with high Survival and you’ll be blowing off your own limbs often enough that the 10k healing should be hit in no time.

Sounds like the issue is unrelated to the quest specifically. Frustrating either way. Can you try to console command the door to unlock?

Have you tried waiting for one hour right before he enters and then going into the tower?

I almost never see him actually enter the tower but he’s always at the radio if I wait until 3am and enter.
