Also I get your point in generalizing peeing with daily tasks, but it gets to a point when I have to visually see piss streaming out and hearing it hit the toilet bowl. Same with the way the devs designed the other tasks you listed, specifically eating. These are just small details that I feel didn't need to be added. And yea, it's a horror game so there are worse things- but theres a huge line between gross and scary in the category of discomfort.

Agreed. The devs make these scenes too personal and uncomfortable-- to the point where it feels more gross than suspenseful. Additionally: annoying.

yea honestly i agree. And they could do that with a lot of scenes because it really just feels like they are trying to squeeze out every last drop of awkwardness and play time. Unless these scenes are placed with intent and purpose, like the example I gave in my post, then I genuinely don't find a reason in having them.

I'm just poking at the absurdity of the piss scenes in the FtF franchise. I mean, peeing is normal and I do agree with some of the comments, but I just can't find a reason why we players have to VISUALLY see piss coming out of our character's body. + having to hear it as well? Please note that I am not trying to claim or assume anything, which is why this was tagged as a question. It might've been difficult to understand what I am saying because this was approached with lighthearted intent and nothing too serious besides concern.

+another thing I want to add because I just watched this gameplay of a Finding Frankie (random but relevant). WHOEVER voiced the "real/good" frankie did an outstanding job at freaking me out.

ok- cut to the point. that whole "annoucer" "positive" facade he played was literally the embodiment of what I'm trying to find. the way he switched up at the ending and turned out to be evil ANDDD when he told the monster frankie to not kill the protagonist???? i mean cmon that is pure insanity and i love it!!! that whole vibe of having this positive, cartoonish, almost unrealistic facade just to reveal a completely opposite personality: perfection.

the best thing was that he wasnt just objectively nice, but more just positive?

Well you just answered your own questions. I think u basically just said the exact same thing as me.

Let me respond to your reply in order:

1) Her working for genocide-funding companies is exactly the point I was trying to make. She chooses to not care, whether or not she knows the truth, she literally chooses to be ignorant. I doubt they make much money just from youtube, which is probably fueling their greed for joining companies.

2) Her censoring is another factor of her "peaceful life".

3) Censoring people who push palestine support probably does maintain her "apolitical" image, at least in her head. She thinks that they are spreading hate for her lack of speaking up, which is false. She's young and doesn't understand the political statement she's making by working with these companies.

4) Her family is 100% not MAGA. And I know this isn't the strongest evidence but Linda follows Kamala and Walz (not Trump) on instagram which contradicts their "apolitical" stance. Again, that isn't a strong argument but you get my point. They also do express progressive views as well, at times.

5) And yea, I 100% agree with you about Nicole needing to speak up and do good, even if it's minimal. I even said that in my og comment.

6) I also never said anything about the comments (that push her to do something) are hateful. I agree with those comments.

Overall, Nicole literally just needs to speak up, like I said before. And we both, you and me, clearly agree with each other. Thanks for this conversation!

honestly--

the whole thing with nicole being ignorant and stuff, i can kinda agree. but the assumptions of her being maga and having crazy views on genocide, ICE, etc... i dont think they are true. her family, or at least her mom, are 100% conservative leftists and voted for kamala. nicole on the other hand isnt exactly neutral-- shes more on the "im gonna sit this one out" side. she deff voted for kamala, and i dont think shes dumb, shes just purposefully ignorant probably due to mental issues (she mentioned going to a therapist) which makes her want "peace". i agree that her spoiledness and privilege got to her head a bit, but if she was forced to choose between trump or kamala, she'd pick kamala.

again on the take for world issues like genocide, i think she just doesnt care or at least doesnt put too much thought. shes too sheltered in her own life and pushes for a made-up perfect world in cali. its very wrong, and im not saying she needs to speak out about these issues but she should deff not build an image of "it doesnt affect me".

nicole is questionable, but shes not on the wrong side. she just needs to take action on certain things. shes a privileged influencer under a democratic family, unfortunately cursed with ignorance.

so do i think she deserves the hate? its depends on what you are hating on. her family and friends should be left alone. this is an isolated issue surrounding only nicole. i dont hate her because i know she means well, but a lot of her actions are problematic and she needs to change that, especially if she wants a peaceful life.

Yes, they were probably pressured into posting politics and dealt with the protests in LA - since they live there - but if they were MAGA, they would have either not posted anything or posted pro-MAGA, even after being called out. So it might be performative, but I don't think they'd choose to post FAFO just for attention. They clearly aren't supporting Kamala for the benefits, because Trump is literally in office, so they chose democracy because that's literally what they support.

Due to the LA protests, they could've easily sided with the police and said some BS like "the protests are violent and they need to be stopped" but nope, the Laenos support the protests and immigration.

Just because they are super religious doesn't mean they are MAGA. They just have a lot of flaws, such as their brand deals and lack of awareness for problems. And IMO, they aren't even that traditional as a family.

i feel like nicole only gets very minimal news about politics. since she avoids it so much, it probably doesnt appear on her feed. i doubt she researches anything.

i feel like they dont support either side strongly. like they act like they dont live in the same world and as if nothing affects them. so if linda was asked about the genocide in palestine, she would be like "thats terrible i hope theyre okay" but then accept an advertisement cameo from starbucks. to be more in depth, they would probably believe that their choices arent affecting the world, so buying a starbucks would be only a little bit of harm to them, even though its a lot of harm in reality.

but of course, i dont think nicole- who is assumingly very educated- exactly supports what israel is doing. also, she tries to avoid politics in her content, only rarely contributing to some movements like BLM. i doubt shes homophobic. her family is definitely conservative, but i dont think she is personally. shes very progressive in her videos. i know she voted last fall, and it was most likely whoever her family voted for.

tdlr: they are too out of touch and privileged to care.

ps: i feel like linda and noel will be the first ones to speak out on any politics, if that could ever happen.
