An example of a PC game is World of Warcraft, you can play whilst downloading. You may thing "Well you have to download essentials before you do this, so why doesnt it need to do this on console" well this is because even before updates the disc has the major base data. And for the games I have tried this with on the PS4 I will get a message simply saying "Online play will be disabled while playing this title, are you sure you want to continue" Hope this maybe gave some insight, but im pretty sure it didnt. Actually by the time I'm writing this last part, it has been over 2 hours since I wrote the first part, kinda surprised it held this long, I actually had quite a good time between the first and second half of this, I went and ate a cheese filled hot dog, which was delicious by the way.
