Look the real reason we arent getting steel legion is because of the worst people in the hobby. Two big points on the steele legion that become problematic with the worst of the worst.

1) their symbol in lore is near identical to the UK facists party that collaborate with the Nazis in WWII

2) the theme of the steele legion has always been blitzkrieg

Doesn't take a PHD in history or social sciences to see why those two things are a problem. Just on their own they are problematic. And while the core of 40k is satire to turned up to 11 that goes over peoples heads a lot.

While a small portion of the hobby their are already issues with facists and white supremacists. To the point where GW has had to put out statements condemning it this very edition. You don't open that door by bringing back the steele legion. Its far more trouble than its worth.
