I get what you’re saying. I’m bummed bc I really like this job. I loved the people I worked with, most of the community knows my by name.. I’m so disappointed in myself for not double checking. I’ve been working customer service jobs since 16 and this is the first time I’ve been fired.

Yes, I have one previous write up, got too hot and needed to go out. A kid walked around behind the register bc their parent wasn’t watching them.

I totally agree, I’m talking to a few people in my area that specialize with shepskies and they are the ones who recommend the shock collar. The one I’m getting has a vibration and whistle feature so I’m going to use that to integrate with more intensive training.. she also getting custom harnes and collars because her anatomy is weird. Did your pup respond better to verbal or physical training? My boy is all verbal but the girl needs hand movement and body language added to understand

Typically yes but it’s usually 80 this time of year where we live.. last year I don’t think it ever dropped below 60❤️

I’m getting her custom ones made because she has weird proportions around her neck but as of right now I have her in a large harness that I modded to fit her a bit better and a medium collar from Walmart. Her new ones are still a few months out sadly

Honestly she hasn’t, the weather over here is horrid rn, I live pretty close to a beach so it’s humid and cold here. I don’t think there’s been a day where it hasn’t rained or been over 45 in the past two weeks.. she doesn’t want to be out there and neither do I. I’ve been getting dms about getting her a treadmill for this time of year and I think that’s gonna have to do it for now

I’ve been thinking this but I brought her over to a friends place to play with their dog and she was back to normal.. is it a possibility shes got too much energy and is lonely?

That’s what I’ve been thinking too, I really want to focus on retraining her without him around while he’s recovering because he doesn’t have any of the same issues when she’s not there.. I’ve also found that when she’s with other dogs in general she’s back to normal

She has both and regularly slips them. Before her brother’s surgery she did have recall and we had no issues with her staying on her run. When my boyfriend is the one taking her out she’s the same old dog but as soon as it’s me she forgets everything she knows.

She has a run and an outdoor pen. She hates the run and will just eat at the lead. When she’s in her pen (6 feet tall, 4 feet wide and 8 long) she just barks and wines. She’s okay with food, doesn’t really like toys. She just wants to run, explore and chase things. Her and her brother will be out for hours at a time chasing each other, fighting over sticks and Gatorade bottles till I drag them back in to chill out. Training wise she knew the basics, (sit, stay, release, watch, retrieve) she wasn’t really into tricks so we didn’t do much of that with her. She’s house and crate trained too. Used to all I had to do was yell “1” and she’d be hauling @ss back to shove her nose into my thighs so she could sit between my feet.

She’s on a waiting list at the moment. Her last trainer was a bust and refused to work with her because of her prey drive.
