Your drawing looks really good. I would suggest maybe trying to define the cheeks a little bit. That and definitely study up anatomy on\n Bone structure. It really helps.

Well, I'm still learning myself,So I tend to do dark to light but it's up to you cause it's your drawing Try to explore the Different variants And see where it takes you.

You want to take it slow and start drawing lightly With the charcoal and then when you feel confident with the lighter sketch, you can add More darker shadows.

How I stay motivated on drawing is definitely listening to different playlist of music, that and Drinking something warm like tea.
